A young man with a horrible past and nothing left to lose commits suicide. Through mysterious means and for an unknown purpose, he is reborn as a pony in Equestria. He now has to face the new world and, most importantly, himself.

Sometimes, life can be extremely cruel to people. They may try to fight, and some may succeed in making their peace with the world. One young man could not. For someone like him, accepting the unfairness and horror of the world was worse than death, and willful ignorance would be a betrayal to his ideals. After finishing his deeds on Earth, violent and bitter as they may be, he chooses to end his life, bringing the end to his suffering and denying the uncaring world the possible satisfaction of breaking his will.

His defiance did not prove to be the final decision in his life, for it was not yet over. Reborn as a pony, he must now face the new world and, most importantly, himself. Without a home, without friends, without a name to himself, he now has more choices to make, and he must consider them much more carefully.

Unbeknownst to him, his appearance was not undetected...
