Chapters Dead Rising: Off the World
Author’s Notes: Hey guys, NK here! No, I didn’t dump any other previous projects on FF.net, so don’t start bombing questions at me. This is a Dead Rising crossover; like the game, the details in some parts may be gory. There is mild swearing used, but not to the point where there’s a curse word in every single paragraph. Enjoy it, and I hope to have a great time writing the story out! (This may spoil Dead Rising 2: Off the Record partially)

----------Prologue----------
Darkness. It overwhelmed Frank West as he was knocked out by TK. Many thoughts had been processing in his busy brain, only to be abruptly wiped out. He felt numb as the electrification stopped, making him fall to the ground. The host of the ‘Terror is Reality’ show said some dumb remarks, but he couldn’t exactly hear what he said. All that mattered was that Frank lost in a humiliating way.
He felt pathetic; he was a freelance photojournalist that had managed to clear what really happened at the mall in Willamette. Not only that, but he had crawled out of the craziest situations in one piece. But to be defeated by the lowliest criminals of all time was a disgrace. The pride of being a hero slowly disappeared, being replaced by anger and determination.
Frank didn’t want to die here. No, he felt that his time was far from death. Some may say he became corrupted after he became a celebrity, but he wanted to prove them wrong. He wanted the fame about him grow once more, and he wanted to get back in the game.
Sooner or later, he noticed that he couldn’t hear anything at all. He thought that while a majority of his six senses were at its’ lowest levels, his consciousness was still working normally. Confused, he attempted to open his eyes. Strangely, he felt them open normally.
After about what felt like an eternity, Frank managed to stand up. He groggily looked around his surroundings. There was absolutely nothing but white, along with his shadow.
‘Is this the afterlife? Or is this just another mindfuck TK planned for me?’ thought Frank.
Suddenly, something pitch-black appeared from a distance. Squinting, he noticed that it was some square apparently in the middle of nowhere.
‘Ok, this is nuts…’
Frank walked towards the square, gathering up his courage. However, as he walked, he noticed that the white surroundings slowly turned dark as he approached the square. The square, much to Frank’s surprise, turned into a bright light when he went towards it. When he was right in front of the square, he looked back and found the place he was in completely dark.
Frank muttered quietly, “Here goes nothing…”
He reached out a hand at the square. That moment probably scared the living hell out of him, as he was suddenly pulled in. Frank couldn’t scream because of the abrupt action that knocked him off his guard.
The man fell towards a fate that he may hate or love. Either way, he still hoped that he would be alive to have another scoop…
…

----------Dead Rising----------Off the World----------Chapter 1 - Goodbye, Nevada ----------
“Man, my back is killing me…”
Frank West opened his eyes. This time, he felt some energy inside of him, but he knew that it may vanish faster than he could think it would. He placed his hands on the soft ground, which was surprisingly grass. Frank grumbled,
“Thank God it wasn’t a canyon…”
After managing to stand up, he looked around him; there were trees everywhere. There weren’t any roads, but heck, there was a messy dirt path. Before he began walking recklessly, a realization dawned on him.
‘Who knows how long the road would actually take me somewhere? What I need right now are some tools, other supplies, and food.’
Frank thought about this for a minute. However, seeing that he couldn’t make anything, he decided to shrug it off.
“I’ll deal with it later. I mean, hell, this might not be as bad as Willamette.”
The photographer walked in the dirt path while thinking about many situations he could suddenly go in. Since he was in the wild, he had to think of some type of defensive weapon. He then felt something in underneath is suit. Frank managed to grab it and see what it was for himself. What he saw, however, made him grin.
In his hand was mankind’s most favored modern weapon; a pistol. Not only could he carry the destructive baby with one hand, but it could shoot out bullets that could fly faster than a running tiger. Ammo would become a problem later, but for now, Frank was satisfied with the amount of bullets he had. However, the man saw something in the dirt path.
He felt his heart skip a beat when he saw a cottage.
‘...Wait… if this place has people living in it… then maybe… just maybe I could borrow shelter after making a good story.’
He walked up towards the cottage that seemed to be placed comfortably. As he got closer, he felt more confidence rising up inside him. When Frank arrived at the door, he nearly kicked the door open until he realized something.
‘Oh yeah, this isn’t Fortune City… how could I forget that so easily? ‘
The man knocked on the door several times. When the door didn’t respond immediately, he decided to wait and enjoy the view behind him. Frank definitely admired the scenery in the forest; many birds flying around, small animals roaming around the ground, fresh air… what more would he need to make such a beautiful combination?
Suddenly, a large crashing noise was made from the cottage. Frank spun around, and looked through a ‘very-large-window-like-thingy-or-whatever-the-heck-it-was’ but found a coach blocking the way.
Oh yes, some chaos fills in the missing gaps at such peaceful times.
Slightly angered and curious at the same time, Frank kicked the door open, along with the coach blocking it. The immense strength he had managed to send the coach flying out of a window in the room.
“Nuts. I’m gonna pay for that one later…” mumbled Frank.
He looked around the room; there were many panicked animals inside that ran around the place because of the sudden havoc that occurred. Surprised, Frank pointed the gun at the floor and fired it, attempting the scare the animals away.
It did. Well, the pistol was unnecessarily loud, but Frank didn’t exactly care because of the noise level going out of control in the cottage. Sooner or later, the animals jumped out of the window he broke and hid underneath it. Apparently, they were waiting for him to leave.
“Dammit, where’s the owner when you need one?”
Frank sighed and saw a comfy looking sofa. It was tempting, but he knew better than to rudely use it for himself. After all, it may be one of those ‘favorite chair’ things.
However, the photographer caught some movement underneath the sofa. Cautiously, he walked towards it, fearing that it may be some type of clown ready to kill him. When he grabbed the sofa, he managed to pick it up, only to find something very shocking in front of him.
He saw a yellow Pegasus in front of him.
Frank felt his heart beat faster as he came up with two situations.
‘Either I became insane like those damn clowns, or I’m just insane….. * wait a minute*…’
However, he knew that he couldn’t lose a chance like this. He felt his hands grab onto his camera and lifted them up. The camera shot out a bright flash of light, startling the Pegasus.
Just when he wanted to observe the new picture, he heard the Pegasus moving. He looked up to see it about to jump out of a window.
“Umm, I ain’t gonna hurt you. Just trying to get some neat photos while I’m in this hellhole of mine…” said Frank grimly.
The Pegasus gasped at the statement he made. That triggered Frank to contemplate once more.
‘Does that thing- no, pon- no, PEGASUS understand what I’m saying? Dammit, maybe I really am insane.’
Suddenly he saw the Pegasus whisper out,
“You’re not g-going to hurt me?”
Frank’s eyes widened. The voice clearly came out of what was a deformed-talking-pony-with-wings. Just when he suddenly wanted to stomp the crap out of it, he decided to play along.
“Yeah! I mean, I don’t have anything I could harm you with right now anyways. And who knows how strong you are? You could consider me as a stranger needing temporary shelter.”
The Pegasus slowly crept up to him. However, the photographer’s eyes cringed slightly when he saw a…
‘A tattoo? On its * ASS*? Man, maybe this is supposed to be some horse from a Biker gang…’
“Umm… you could stay here for a while if you’d like…”
Frank woke up from his little world as he noticed the Pegasus letting him stay here. He put on a smile as he nodded politely. The man then walked up to a chair and sat down.
Or at least, he tried to.
The chair instantly broke because of his weight. Utterly shocked by the loud noise of the chair, the yellow Pegasus quietly screamed and ran out of the door. Sitting on top of the mess, Frank found himself facepalming.
“And here I thought I wasn’t much of a fatso…”
It had been several minutes since the ‘Chair Incident’. Frank felt uncomfortable because the Pegasus hadn’t come back. He feared that it may summon a crapload of other talking horses that would attempt to trample him to death. He stared at the gun on his hand.
“Honestly, I think this little thing won’t have many uses in this type of place. But who knows what might happen…”
The photographer put back the gun away in his suit. He knew he would use it when it was only necessary. Of course, Frank wasn’t the trigger-happy type, so he at least wanted to prevent himself from becoming like one.
However, when thirty minutes clearly passed, Frank found himself walking towards the door. He didn’t want to sit there and wait for some type of assault to suddenly occur on him. The man also craved for some cooked meat. Opening the door slightly, his head popped out of the entrance to look around his surroundings. Nothing active seemed to be going on, but it may have many traps laid out for him.
Slowly, he walked out of the house. He followed the dirt path once more…
Frank finally arrived at what he wanted to see; a town. He was about to barge in, but he heard a strange noise behind him. The man looked behind him only to find a creepy looking figure far away in the path he just came from.
“…Hello?”
The figure did not even flinch a little. It stayed there, assumingly staring at the frightened man.
Frank called out once more, “Hello?!”
Suddenly, the figure began to move. It walked sluggishly, but it was fast enough to intimidate Frank. He felt himself bring out the gun he had with him. Many zombie kills gave him the gift of accuracy, but that wasn’t the thing he was concerned about at the moment.
“Who are you?!”
Frank now saw the figure fully. It was a human like him, but…
“Oh no…”
It was the insane man that was on a slicecycle back in Fortune City; Chuck Greene .
Dead Rising: Off the World
Psychopath Battle: Chuck Greene
Chapter 2 Psychopath Battle: *Chuck Greene *----------
Frank fired at the man running towards him. Strangely enough, the other man seemed to dodge the bullets expertly as he ran. Chuck took out what appeared to be a broom with a machete combined and swung it at Frank. The photographer barely managed to roll out of danger. He shouted at the insane man before him,
“I saw you die with my own eyes!” yelled Frank.
The former TIR contestant stared deeply into the photographer’s eyes and shouted back,
“Well, Katey is DEAD because of you! I can’t let the man who killed my own daughter get away with the act that easily!”
Although he did not exactly know how the man came back from the dead, Frank fired at the psychopath once more. One of the bullets grazed him, but Chuck didn’t seem to feel the pain at the moment. The man swung his pole weapon at Frank, damaging him as well.
The photographer felt pain in his left arm, but he thanked his luck for the fact that it was still intact. Frank kicked his enemy away and fired several more rounds of pure lead; none of them hit the target, but the other man was still dizzy from the kick. Taking this as a chance, Frank jumped and elbow smashed Chuck in the chest. This was apparently a bad move, however.
Chuck grabbed Frank and threw him on a tree trunk. Picking up his pole weapon, he dashed at the dazed photographer. The tip of the spear was directly pointed at Frank, gleaming because of the sun.
However, the psychopath’s drunken state led to him missing the target he intended to hit. Instead of hitting Frank, he hit the tree trunk. Chuck desperately tried to pull it out, but felt himself being punched by his enemy. Frank pulled out the pole weapon and carried it with one hand, while using the other hand to carry the pistol. He grinned as he knew the tides of the battle turned.
Chuck seemed to realize this too, as he had momentarily stopped attacking. However, he had other tricks up his sleeves. The insane man dashed towards Frank.
Frank clearly didn’t expect this, as he hesitated to attack as well. He decided to use the pole weapon and ran towards the ex-motocross champion. It was a bad weapon of choice.
Although he was drunk, Chuck did have a majority of his intelligence in his instable brain. He suddenly began sliding towards Frank on his back and grabbed the pole weapon out of the grip of his enemy. When he stood up, he turned around and successfully deflected the last bullet in Frank’s ammo clip.
Desperate, Frank searched for ammo in his pockets using his free hand. Unfortunately, by the time he felt one clip, he noticed that Chuck was in a point-blank range of stabbing him. He barely managed to dodge the fast attack.
‘This is going to last forever if I keep this up. I need to using something that could quickly end the battle, but where is that ‘something’? ‘
Frank noticed a strange tree that looked like it was about to fall off. If he successfully lured Chuck into a trap…
‘Bingo…’
The man suddenly ran towards the tree. As expected, the psychopath gave chase to the photographer. With a crazy man hot on his heels, Frank only had milliseconds if he were to pull off what he was thinking.
When he arrived at the tree, Chuck lunged at Frank once more. Taking this chance, Frank dodged the blade coming towards him. The pole weapon hacked the tree trunk completely, stopping Chuck from moving again. The TIR Contestant looked up only to find a tree falling towards him.
“Shit…”
Frank managed to roll away from safety as the huge thing collapsed on top of Chuck. He looked back only to find dust, a tree that just fell, and a bloody pole weapon lying on the ground. The man walked towards the only property that was apparently left from Chuck Greene, the ex-motocross champion.
“That guy probably thought himself too much as an avenger.” said Frank to himself.
He won the battle once more. Chuck was killed for the second time, and the ties had finally ended. It should’ve been ended back in Nevada, anyways.
However, something in his mind came up.
Frank pulled the tree and observed where Chuck’s corpse was, only to find out that there was no corpse.
“Oh, crap. There goes the ‘nutbar’ disappearing again…”
He finally came up to a conclusion that Chuck had somehow escaped once more. But that was the last thing he was concerned about right now. Why?
Frank was getting hungry again.

Chapter 3 - Smile For The Camera ----------
Frank West found himself walking towards the town. Ironically enough, it was so colorful, Frank literally needed sunglasses to proceed into the heart of the residential area. When he arrived at several houses, he saw no one around the place.
"Hello? Anybody there?"
Despite his efforts, no one responded. Apparently, he was in a ghost town, and he definitely hated ghost towns. It reminded him of Willamette; no life, but just the animated dead cruising around.
While he walked around aimlessly, he found an apple lying on the ground. Feeling eager to finally find some type of food, he reached out and grabbed it.
"At least there's some peace and quiet here. A great prize considering the fact that I just fought some insane dude..."
Frank took a bite out of the apple he picked up. An unexpected sweet taste filled him in, much to the photographer's joy.
"Shame that the person who farmed these ain't here."
However, just when he was about to take another bite, he heard a noise behind him. He turned around only to find nothing. When he decided to ignore it, another noise came from his right side. Frank desperately attempted to find the source of the noise, but failed multiple times. Finally, when the noise came out once more, Frank faked himself turning around, only to find himself face-to-face with...
'Another pony with big eyes... am I really dead or something?' thought Frank.
The small pony had a red mane with yellowish fur on it. Unlike the bigger Pegasus he had met earlier, this filly apparently had no tattoos on its a- er, flank. In a Southern accent, the filly spoke to him,
"W-What are ya' supposed to be, mister?"
Frank wanted to kick away the pony away while screaming curse words, but he knew that would be too sadistic. And judging by the voice and appearance, it was a very young female. The man replied,
"Ever heard of humans?"
"What's a... hoo-man?"
'That sounds really wrong, but whatever.'
"A human," said Frank calmly, "is a bipedal creature. We are advanced in technology, but we are destructive in nature. It'd be best not to hang out with me, kiddo."
The filly seemed to be surprised by the description, as she shivered at the thought of destruction. Attempting to change the subject with the new creature before her, the filly once again spoke up,
"M-Mah name's Applebloom! What's yer's?"
The photographer chuckled a little. It had been a long time since he actually introduced himself.
"The name's Frank West. Just your average freelance photographer. I've been through lots of... um, junk that made my life a little hard, but the odds were too small to prevent me from covering up big stories. Recently, I've covered the story behind Willamette, a city in-"
"W-Woah, woah there!" cried out Applebloom, "I don't understand a thing yer sayin'! Could ya' kinda summarize it?"
Frank found it hard not to smash the filly, but nevertheless, he kept his normal poker-face on and answered her wish,
"Basically, I've covered big stuff. My job is to find out the truth behind mysterious things and also take photos of them. You could consider me as one of the daring ones in life."
Applebloom had her mouth agape as he said this.
"So you uncover the truth behind things to prevent lies? That's so awesome!"
Frank didn't know what to say about the filly. First, she was afraid of the man. Now she seemed to be intrigued and curious of his overall reputation. He felt himself smiling proudly.
"I guess so. I guess so..."
However, a thought popped up in Frank's mind.
"Say kid, where did the rest of the peo- ponies go? I'm sure you're not the only one living here, right?"
Suddenly, he heard another feminine Southern voice cry out from a distance,
"APPLEBLOOM! STAY AWAY FROM THAT THING!"
He turned around to see an orange pony with a cowboy hat charging at him.
'Aw, crap. It's yet ANOTHER BIKER GANG HORSE?!'
Before he could think anymore of the topic 'ass', he rolled away from the pony. The orange pony slammed onto a cottage nearby. Applebloom cried out,
"APPLEJACK!"
'Go "eff" your family and yourself, kiddo.'
Applejack quickly went out of her stunned state and turned back to stare at Frank once more. This time, however, she did not charge; instead, she attempted to have a conversation with him.
"What in tarnation are ya', monster?!"
"Well, I- wait, did you just call me a 'monster'?"
The pony replied, "Well, duh! What else am 'ah supposed to call ya'?"
Frank coolly answered, "A human. Duh. And I was just answering what your relative-"
"Sister."
"Sister," Frank said while glaring at Applebloom, "was asking me. I had no intentions of harming her, and I don't see any reason why I should."
Just when Applejack tried to yell out something, another feminine voice cried out,
"Well you JUST HURT AJ, PUNK!"
Frank turned around only to find a cyan Pegasus with a rainbow mane floating. Behind her were several more ponies that he didn't recognize... except for a familiar yellow Pegasus.
"She tried to hurt me! It was in self-defense, hippy. Chill out, alright?"
The Pegasus fumed at this statement,
"A-A HIPPY?! I am Rainbow Dash, the fastest flier in Equestria!"
Frank muttered loudly, "Hell, I'm sure that even Kent Swanson would beat the crap out of you..."
Just when Dash was about to tackle Frank, a purple unicorn sighed and walked up to him.
"U-Umm... please forgive the rashness of my friend here, but she's just loyal to her friends. My name is Twilight Sparkle."
The formal unicorn raised up a hoof. Frank stared intently at it, but decided that no harm could actually be done from just shaking it. He put his hand on the hoof and shook it.
"Frank. Frank West."
"Soooo... would you like to come to a more private area? I mean, the residents are actually quite intimidated by your appearance here..." Twilight chuckled nervously as her eyes darted around many cottages. Frank also looked around, noticing that there were actually a crapload of ponies observing him with fear.
"...Maybe."
Just when he finished, an energetic pink pony suddenly popped up right in front of his face.
"Hi, I'm Pinkie Pie, and I wanna make a party just for you ! You seem to be a strange creature! Ooh, those are some weird clothes you have there! I know the perfect ingredients for a cake that you will definitely, oh definitely love! I als-"
Frank interrupted Pinkie by pointing his gun, clearly annoyed by the sudden outburst. All of the ponies gasped, including a frightened Applebloom.
"Shut up, or I'm going to end your party of life."
The pink pony quivered slightly as the unknown object was pointed at her head. A white unicorn with a purple mane stuttered out,
"N-Now, t-that's quite r-rude of you! Don't you know how to be a gentlecolt?"
Frank rolled his eyes as he said,
"I'm a man, not a stupid horse with some weird tattoo on its ass."
At this statement, everypony gasped once more. Dash charged in, despite her efforts of not doing so. Frank saw the rainbow-maned pony attempting to attack him. However, much to the pony's chagrin, he jumped and kicked her using both of his legs and fell on his back. He did do it a little softly, but the pony still felt pain in her ribs. The yellow Pegasus cried out,
"Don't hurt her!"
"Fluttershy!" yelled out Twilight, "Don't try to do the Stare!"
'What the hell is the Stare? Is it some sexual thing?...' thought Frank. However, he soon found himself staring into Fluttershy's eyes. At first, he was frightened because of the possibility that she may possess him. But after a few moments later, he noticed nothing happened.
"...Umm, is something on my face?"
Fluttershy gasped as she fell back on her flank. The others gasped as well, much to Frank's confusion. When silence overcame the chaotic group, Frank suggested,
"How about we talk in a private place?"
Twilight nodded, "Perfect choice, Frank."
'Everything's going on a little too quickly... I guess this place is nuts.' thought Frank as he headed for wherever Twilight took him.

Solving the Zombrex Issue
Chapter 4 - The Colorful Conflict ----------
The Ponyville Library had an intense aura surrounding it. Inside was a very ticked off Rainbow Dash, a disgusted Rarity, an enraged Applejack, a petrified Fluttershy, and Twilight Sparkle, who was trying her best not to either run away or beat the visitor to death. Oh yes, and speaking of visitor, let's count Frank West in. Now what did Frank do to make a situation like this?
Earlier, he had been introduced to the Mane Six formerly. However, despite their efforts to give him information, he seemed to doze off into short sleeping times. After multiple attempts of trying to introduce Equestria, Rainbow Dash finally yelled at Frank for being rude to both her and her friends. And that was when he said it.
"Then I assume you're all lesbians."
That completely blew the bomb up.
"Girls! Girls! Pipe down, will you? He's in a strange state of sleepiness, so I don't think he could help himself but to think in a haywire manner." said Twilight desperately.
"Couldn't help himself? State of sleepiness? The only thing 'ah agree is that he has some real 'haywire' manners!" retorted Applejack. After multiple failed attempts of trying to calm the ponies down, Frank yelled out,
"QUIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!"
Everypony stood in shock as the human used the tremendously loud noise. It seemed to rival with Princess Luna's Canterlot voice. However, Fluttershy noticed something strange about Frank; he was breathing heavily and seemed panicked.
"U-Umm... Mr. West, are you alright?"
"Of course I'm not!" snapped Frank. "I'm supposed to get my Zombrex at this hour! If I don't get it, I might as well die soon."
The six ponies gasped at the newly revealed fact. Even Rainbow Dash seemed to forget about her intense hate towards the newcomer. Fluttershy squeaked out,
"I-I-Is it n-necessary for y-your survival?"
"Yeah. And if I don't get it, I might as well become a-"
Suddenly, a beeping noise came out of the room. Frank and the six ponies looked around for the source of the noise but failed to do so. However, Frank suddenly recognized it. He took out a small radio transmitter and clicked it.
"......Hello?" whispered Frank. However, the voice that came afterwards made him throw the radio out of a window,
"Frank West. You are going DOWN for my dau-"
The ponies blinked in surprise. Rarity boldly asked the human,
"...What was that thing supposed to be?"
"It's a radio. We use it to communicate at far ranges. Although I won't be needing it anymore..." muttered Frank. He developed an 'I-seriously-hate-that-guy' relationship with a psychopath, and just thinking about it pissed him off.
Before he could explain about Zombrex, the pink pony slowly asked,
"So you need this Zombrex thing? To live? Isn't that a terrible fate?"
Frank noticed that the usual lunatic had her hair hung straight down from her head. Almost as if...
'If she were dead... God, I hate it whenever someone looks creepy like that.
"Yep. But if I were in a good case scenario, then I wouldn't need it anymore."
Twilight was about to say something when Frank suddenly stood up.
"What's the bright light over there?" he asked.
The purple unicorn turned and noticed the familiar light... and instantly bowed. Frank noticed that the rest of the ponies bowed as well. The six ponies knew all too well about the princesses of Equestria, but Frank did not know who had just come out of the light.
Slowly, the light faded as two tall alicorns stood in where the source used to be. One was dark-blue and seemed to be smaller than the other one. The tall one was pure white and seemed to have endless colors running down her mane. The two slowly trotted over to the bewildered human. When they were close enough to fully inspect him, the white alicorn spoke up,
"Greetings, strange creature. I am Princess Celestia, and this is my sister, Princess Luna. Together, we rule Equestria with harmony and happiness. What brings you here, and would you care to explain who you are?"
Much to everypony's surprise, however, the man clapped slowly. A minute seemed to go by before he finally stopped clapping and answered,
"So you two are the... monarchs in this place?"
Celestia nodded, "Indeed we are."
A few moments of silence passed. Suddenly, the man started to laugh out loud. He clutched his stomach and rolled around the floor, continuing to laugh. The six ponies were horrified by the act he was committing in front of their leaders; he looked like as if he was mocking them.
Luna growled and shouted out in her Canterlot voice, "YOU WILL NOT LAUGH AT THE PRINCESS, YOU ARROGANT CREATURE!"
Frank finished laughing as he slowly got up. However, his back was turned to the ponies, secluding his expression. It was a face that knew he was going to die soon if he were to be the unluckiest man in the world.
"...I was laughing at myself."
Luna seemed to freeze in place as the photographer went on,
"You see, I find it ironic that my fate is to explain who I am over and over again, only to die in a few minutes. I could already feel the process of... turning... right now..."
The dark-blue alicorn asked in her normal voice, "And what is it that is... murdering you?"
Frank turned around, revealing a serious expression that was plastered in his face. "A zombie got me. And the medicine required to backfire the process of turning into one isn't here. In other words, I'm screwed."
Everypony seemed to gasp at this revalation. Celestia felt pity for the creature before her. She had never seen such an exotic creature that had a horrifying fate. However, she knew that she could give him hope to live once more.
"...I know how to backfire it. Permanently."
Just when Frank was about to turn around, he stopped moving. He looked back at Celestia with eyes that were clearly confused.
"I-I don't understand. I mean, I'm sure that there were no such thi-"
"Enough. Everypony out of the library."
The Elements of Harmony looked at each other with nervousness. They then trotted out quickly. Luna also followed the ponies out, making sure that they weren't peeking. The white alicorn stepped in front of the human and commanded,
"Close your eyes, and take five deep breaths. Then, open them, and look into my own."
Frank nodded and did as he was told. When he opened his eyes, he saw an endless paradise behind her eyes, which startled him. Suddenly, he was filled with a strange sensation within his body. It filled him up endlessly, until it finally stopped at one point. His body was full of energy, and he could feel something strange.
"...What did you do?"
"I told you, I backfired the process."
Frank looked at his hands and noticed something.
"...I see what you did there."
Celestia smiled and said to him, "Although your old body was dying out, a new one would also give you a fresh start."
Frank felt the young energy he used to have back in Willamette. It was a pleasant feeling to feel strong again, and he started to like this 'Celestia' mare. Then, the alicorn asked him,
"Now would you tell me what was your name again?"
The photographer grinned smugly as he looked up face-to-face with the princess. He stuck out a hand and replied in a younger voice,
"My name's Frank West. And I love you so much for what you just did there, princess."
Celestia laughed and used her hoof to shake his hand.
"It's good to have you 'alive', Frank. Please, just call me Celestia, because I don't think you're exactly used to saying titles."
The man chuckled. He looked out a window, only to find a rainbow suddenly appear outside.
"...Must be that crazy Pegasus again."
(Author's Notes)
Hey guys! The reason why I wrote this chapter was to answer how Frank got over his Zombrex issue. The next chapter would be a little more exciting, as it includes a psychopath that many have been terrified of. Also, just a note, but this chapter was slightly rushed. It will be more detailed next time.

Meet the Element of Laughter
Chapter 6 - Time For A Cruise ----------
Frank took a good look at the laundry and secretly used it. It was still nighttime, and many ponies were still asleep. He decided to waste a large amount of tissues in order to cover himself up while the clothes were being cleaned, which seemed to be better than walking around buck-naked. A few minutes later, he found himself staring at the stars once more inside the library. Although this 'Equestria' madness was giving him weird vibes, the starry night seemed to calm him down. It was interesting; the stars seemed to shine more than it did on Earth. He reconsidered about actually staying in the hell-hole, but if there weren't any scoops to pick up in his current location, he might as well try finding a way back to his home.
The photographer had taken off his sunglasses earlier; who would wear them at nighttime, anyways?
'I did see that music video called 'Mr. Douchebag' before, and I think it did show a dude doing that...'
Frank didn't want the night to end. He wanted the ponies to sleep forever so that he could rest in peace, but he knew that was only seen as a dream. Hopes of running away decreased after seeing Adam in the woods; he feared that there may be other insane psychopaths roaming around the wilderness. He sighed as sleepiness overcame him slowly.
...
...
...
...
...
Opening his eyes, Frank found himself face-to-face with a familiar purple unicorn. Twilight took a step back, startled by how sudden he woke up. The human sat up straight, but he seemed to lose interest in the pony.
"Man... morning already?"
"H-Hey, umm..." Twilight began, "I know we weren't exactly happy with each other in our first meeting, but..."
Frank locked his eyes on the unicorn, who seemed to be avoiding his gaze.
"But what?"
"...S-Shall I give you a tour of Ponyville?"
Although the photographer expected something worse, he knew that having a tour would actually benefit him. He also needed to get his suit back as soon as possible.
"Sure. But I'm going to choose where we go first."
"A-Alright."
Frank stood up, stretching his back. He muttered,
"Time for a cruise..."
Twilight nervously looked around the town. Many ponies stared at the creature next to her with either awe, disgust, or horror. Either way, Frank did not tolerate the attention, but the only fact that made him feel better was that he didn't look like a mummy. His suit was clean as ever, with the classic camera slung over his neck.
"Twilight, was it?" whispered Frank.
"Yes?"
"Can we move a little faster? I feel weird because of all these hor- ponies staring at me."
The purple unicorn would've glare if they weren't attracting the attention of nearly every single pony. She trotted faster with the human also picking up his own pace. They went inside a small building that seemed to be a bakery. While Twilight sighed, Frank stared at a button on a wall that said 'No Hoo-man Shall Press This!'.
"Oh, joy. Now I sound like a hooter."
He slammed the button, crushing it in the process. When he did, though, he felt a cupcake ambush his face. The unicorn next to him gasped as the icings were smeared all over his face.
"...Maybe someone came a little too much."
An energetic voice shouted out,
"HELLO! We meet again! My name is Pinkie Pie, and that cupcake was a small payback because you made me feel bad earlier. But it's okay now, cause it's supposed to be a joke! I also have a special, SPECIAL batch of cupcakes prepared for you if you feel bad! You want some? Hmm? Pleaaaaaaaaase?"
Frank felt himself facepalm as he muttered,
"I shouldn't have read that 'special' fan-fiction... now it feels just awkward talking about cupcakes."
"Huh? What'd ya say? Is it a yes?"
The human took a look at Twilight, who seemed to look pitifully at him. He then replied to Pinkie,
"Yeah... I need something to eat anyways."
The pink earth pony squealed with joy as she energetically bounced up to a tray with delicious-looking cupcakes prepared on it. After she somehow picked it up with her head, she trotted back to Frank and joyfully said,
"Here!"
The man himself was surprised to see how tempting the cupcakes were. The icings were actually expertly placed, and it overall looked appetizing. He also noticed that Pinkie laughed nervously when he read out letters that were made in each cupcake.
"S.o.r.r.y-W.e.s.t?"
"Ooh, about that... umm, hee hee..."
Frank raised an eyebrow out of sheer amusement, but the look on his face clearly said 'Get on with it.'
"I'm sorry about making you angry. Y'know, it's kind of painful to see someone not laughing or smiling at all, and I partially failed my job at it. So I'm hundred percent sure that this'll make you happy!"
At first, the human frowned, causing Pinkie to skip a heartbeat. He clearly wasn't much of a talker after he lost his position as a talk-show host, but he rarely had the chance to actually smile truthfully. When he began to smile softly, Pinkie felt satisfaction fill her heart.
"Thanks. I'll eat them all. Happily."
Pinkie only squealed joyfully as she bounced around the room once more. While she was doing that, Frank took a bite from the cupcake with 'S' on it.
'...Definitely not bad.'
Twilight had her mouth open throughout the entire event. She didn't exactly get the chance to explain about Pinkie's hobbies, but she didn't want to ruin the good moment. When the man turned to look at her, she managed to wake up from an unknown trance.
"Soooo, wanna visit another good friend of mine?" asked Twilight.
"Sure... and I know who I wanna visit."
Frank cracked his neck, causing Twilight to flinch. They left what was apparently called 'Sugarcube Corner'. While they were moving along, the man muttered something that Twilight secretly hated to hear,
"Here I come, tomboy-lesbo..."
(Author's Notes)
Man, it's hard to write something without some type of action going on. I'm finally introducing the Mane Six to Frank West PROPERLY. Like, thank God someone like me could actually do that. And sorry if this was short, I just felt that Pinkie should have a fast introduction considering the fact that she moves on through stuff very quickly. Twilight will properly explain about her to Frank in the next chapter, while visiting their next target. (and yes, the next chapter would probably take a day or two to make)
And if you heard the hint on who he's going to visit next, then I'll try my best! Also, don't forget that feedback is always welcome! (PM or comments; I'm also taking suggestions)

Meet the Element of Loyalty
Chapter 7 - Meet the Element of Loyalty ----------
"Dash! Come on, he just wants to be friendly with you!"
"But that jerk insulted me with mean names!"
Frank West sat, full of boredom, as Twilight argued with Rainbow Dash, who was lying down on a cloud. Sure, many have argued with him for long periods of time back in Willamette and Fortune City, but he had never seen two horses argue for a straight thirty minutes.
After several more moments of awkward silence, Frank called out,
"Hey! Your girlfriend is calling you, for Christ's sa-"
The man met with an unfortunate fate of a 'boot-to-the-head'. He stumbled, trying to gain balance as he felt the world become hazy.
"SHE'S NOT MY COLTFRIEND!!! "
Several ponies passing by quickly ran away as the noise boomed out loudly. Dash put a hoof on her mouth, embarrassed by the sudden outburst. The photographer chuckled as he regained his vision.
"Man, you shouldn't deny facts when you know they're true. Ya?"
Before the rainbow-maned Pegasus could whoop him again, Twilight interrupted the two,
"Hey! We weren't here for an argument to ensue purposefully! You two apologize right now!"
Dash stared at the purple unicorn as if she were insane. She shot a death glare at Frank, who was now quirking one eyebrow. Much to the man's surprise, the pony bowed her head slightly and muttered,
"Sorry... about that."
"Ditto." replied Frank simply.
Twilight huffed out a sigh of annoyance and anger. She then told Rainbow Dash to introduce herself to Frank. The Pegasus smiled and said,
"My name's Rainbow Dash! The fastest flier in Equestria you would ever meet!"
"The pleasure is mine. Do you like... have a job here or somethin'?"
The Pegasus answered his question,
"Yep. I control the weather, but I'm still looking out for any tryouts to enter the Wonderbolts!"
Frank blinked in confusion but decided to slip out smoothly. He didn't want to look like an idiot asking for other famous people, and he stopped liking famous people after meeting TK.
"Yeah..."
"So..." said Dash, "What do you do for a living?"
He looked up to find two curious ponies staring intently at him. Frank smirked as he said,
"I'm a freelance photographer, finding the biggest scoops from big news. There's no doubt that mysteries couldn't stay as mysteries thanks to people like me."
The unicorn nodded in appreciation, but the rainbow-maned Pegasus suddenly blurted out excitedly,
"REALLY?! So you mean that you could find some unidentified object and reveal it to the people and then find another bigger secret that leads into... into... into... "
Twilight facehoofed, while Frank just shook his head in disgust. The Pegasus felt her head becoming beet red.
A few minutes later, the group of three sat down in a cafe to eat some sandwiches. It took some time to take out daisies out of Frank's, but overall, it was a good meal.
Suddenly, Frank felt a question pop up in his mind.
"Dash, do you know about this... Pinkie Tie or whatever her name was?"
The Pegasus raised an eyebrow as she replied,
"Well, duh. Everypony knows her as the party-pony in Ponyville! She's made a buncha sweets that are delicious, y'know?"
Before Frank could mutter insults, Twilight further explained the pink pony's history.
"She wasn't much of a happy pony when she was a filly, though. Pinkie used to work in a rock farm, where there was no fun and happiness at all. I couldn't imagine a happy earth-pony that lived with such a sad past..."
While the two ponies discussed more about their friend, Frank felt himself drifting away to his own thoughts.
'Hmm... they say it's a tragic past, yet they don't even ask ME about my past. Selfish brats... '
The man stood up, making the two ponies stop their conversation. Twilight asked him,
"Where are you going, Mr. West?"
"To the forest. Just to meet someone, alright?"
As he walked away, the two ponies looked at each other. Rainbow Dash had a mischievous expression, which made Twilight roll her eyes once more. Apparently, Frank West wasn't going alone.
(Author's Notes)
Due to some business I had to attend to, I made the chapter shorter unintentionally. The next one is another Element... or, it WAS supposed to be an element. Frank West finds a familiar somebody he met in Willamette...

An Old Foe, A New Friend (Psychopath Included)
Chapter 8 - An Old Foe, A New Friend ----------
Frank didn't like forests. Heck, he didn't like trees either. He remembered that a zombie popped out of nowhere and nearly bit the shit out of him in mere seconds; he had to thank that Gordon dude for saving his life.
It was nighttime, and the photographer was crossing the forest once more. He needed to meet a familiar yellow Pegasus before running the hell away from the face of the town. From the beginning, he did not like this place, but as his visit grew longer and longer, he felt like his sanity was toying with his brain.
The dirt beneath him scrunched on every step he took. He got used to it after being in Willamette, but it does get annoying when a crapload of zombies mix the noise with moaning.
"Jesus, and here I promised not to remind myself of Willamette..." muttered Frank.
However, on the way to the Pegasus's small cottage, Frank noticed something strange. Something red was painted on the trees, and it certainly didn't look like tomatoes or ketchup. He walked up to a strong looking tree defiled by the stench of...
"...Blood... Human blood..."
As if right on cue, he heard a voice shout far away,
"Get away from me, you insane lunatic!"
Frank stiffened. From what he learned, no one in the town would say swear words like he casually does. And here he was, hearing another voice shouting out insults.
'I gotta go, that dude must be fighting someone! Or worse, a psychopath! And if he's another human like me, then maybe I could actually have a chance of keeping my sanity...'
Instantaneously, he began running towards the source of the noise.
----------Earlier...
...
...
...
His family was the first thing he thought of when he woke up.
Losing everything... his wife... his daughter ...
He lost everything back in Willamette, and he hated to think about it. No, he craved to destroy that memory if he wanted to. Cliff Hudson just wanted a normal life, and he never thought about becoming insane.
Another thing that popped up in his mind was the man who killed him. The man who served justice and serenity to him. Yes, the fellow photographer had done a good job of giving him peace, but apparently, his efforts had become in vain. Here he was, lying down on the grass. And now he wanted to die once more.
Cliff didn't know why he was alive, and he didn't want to stay that way. He should've gone back to his family, where everything was perfect and... right ...
"This shit is getting on my nerves..." mumbled the man.
He sat up slowly, cracking several bones on his back. Judging by how many bones did crack, he had stayed sleeping for several days by now, and he was really hungry. The man stood up, now wanting to satisfy himself.
'But wait... if I feed myself, then I can't starve to death. Why am doing this, anyways?'
For several minutes, he stood there, staring at a weapon before him. It was the machete he had apparently used against zombies, as well as the photographer. He was missing his wallet, making him curse once more.
After using his ample time wisely, Cliff decided to go hunting; it wouldn't be that hard if he could catch jumping Vietnam soldiers, but that memory just pained him. Grabbing his bloody machete, he began walking towards something that looked like a road.
But he didn't. No, he couldn't .
For a psychopath like him had popped out, ready to gut him inside out.
Psychopath Battle - Sean Greywood
The instant moment he saw a man pop out with some type of weird weapon, Cliff instinctively jumped back. Before him was a very dirty looking man; he had black messy hair, dirt on his face, rags, and incredibly deep dark-circles. Although the newcomer had a good body build, his eyes seemed to ruin this; Cliff felt as if the bulging eyes tried to gaze into his mind, making him feel disturbed.
"You... aren't one of them?"
Cliff nodded and replied, "Just cruising by... in fact, I just arrived here in a very strange fashion."
Unexpectedly, the man took a big step to take a good look at Cliff. It was creepy, seeing a man observe your face for what seemed like an eternity. Especially with those eyes. After what felt like hours (which only went by seconds), the man covered in dirt muttered something quietly.
"Er, what did you say?" asked Cliff.
He was taken aback when the man shouted,
"WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?!"
Fear filling him in, Cliff began to back away from the man, who went on continuing in a quieter voice.
"Oh, I see now... you... you're just like one of them. Those nobodies who ignored me when I only wanted to save them. You're just like those fuckers who wanted to die in a brutal fate, when I desperately told them to follow me to a safe area! But no, I'm going to change your fate now..."
The weapon the disturbed man carried made Cliff worry. It was a normal machine gun, but what made it intimidating was the ridiculously sharp-looking blade duct-taped at the tip of the gun. The gun itself looked like a spear, but with bullets included. And it seemed like the lunatic was going to use it on him.
The insane man concluded, "Instead of falling to the dead... I will make you fall. And you will regret for the stupid decision you made. Sean Greywood will give you a ticket to hell with ease if you just cooperate. My way to kill..."
Sean raised the gun and pointed it at Cliff with a murderous look on his face. The fearful man lifted up his machete, waiting for a battle that will inevitably occur.
"... will be your way to die."
Instantaneously, Cliff rolled away when Sean had finished his little showoff. He felt bullets whiz past him by only millimeters, and he felt the urge to press on. When Cliff found a tree, he hid behind it, sighing out loud. However, what confused him was the fact that the loud noise of a gun stopped firing.
He knew he was lucky when a blade barely missed him and hit the tree.
The man attacked his opponent with his machete, but a new problem came up. Apparently, Sean also had a combat knife as well. And he blocked the machete.
"Oh, fuck my life!" yelled Cliff as he backflipped away from an incoming knife swing.
"Don't worry! This isn't even the first surprise I have for your death!" said Sean.
"Get away from me, you insane lunatic!"
Clearly disobeying Cliff, Sean pulled his gun-blade away from the tree and swung it at his opponent. He barely missed his target, making him grunt in annoyance. Cliff took this small chance to graze the lunatic's right arm, which carried the machine gun. The insane man cried out in pain, but he began laughing as he began to reach for something behind him.
Sean put away the knife, only to bring out a pistol. Or what looked like a pistol. When it began firing out bullets, Cliff saw flaming bullets flying directly at him. However, due to the modifications made into the gun, the bullets did not go as far as Cliff thought it would. When he dodged all of them, they conveniently fell into a pond. However, this gave the psychopath to gain the time to pick his machine gun. Cliff thanked the pond before-
'...Wait, a pond?'
Cliff managed to run up to Sean and kick him in the stomach. The psychopath cringed as he began swinging around the gun once more.
'That's it... he has a shitload of an arsenal at his disposal, but the most dangerous ones can't be used in water since they're guns! Now to find a way of how to kill him in the pond, that's a different story.'
When the family man thought about it, he came up to one conclusion.
'Grapple the shit out of him.'
Cliff ran towards Sean, causing the psychopath to raise his pistol up once more. The sane man dodged a bullet that engulfed a bush into flames and tackled the insane man. He quickly changed the direction of where he was facing and began to charge into the pond. Much to his pleasant surprise, the psychopath was successfully flown into the pond.
He jumped in as well to begin the final phase. Cliff readied his machete as he saw the man desperately trying to fire bullets at him. With an immense amount of strength, he swung the blade at Greywood, but his opponent managed to deflect it using his combat knife. Sean was in a state of panic because his movements were sluggish, and his oxygen was depleting. When he lunged towards Cliff, however, his worries evaporated into nothingness.
Cliff stabbed the psychopath, receiving an incoherent amount of bubbles blown into his face, as well as the familiar sight of blood in the water. He looked into the eyes of his enemy, waiting for the moment to go back up to the surface. But there was no need to do so, as Sean Greywood's eyes were now lifeless as a corpse.
The feeling of fresh air filling him once more felt refreshing. Cliff swam towards the edge of the deep pond and got out of the water quickly. One problem was gone, but now another had entered. He originally needed food, but now he always needs warmth. The man shivered in the moonlight as he began walking towards the dirt path once more, only to hear a familiar clicking noise.
He spun around, only to find an incredibly bloody psychopath he thought he had defeated. Sean looked like a madman that Cliff had never seen before, and now he knew that he couldn't do anything to prevent the inevitable from happening.
"Did you not hear? I did say that my way to kill..." Sean raised his gun up as he concluded, "...is your way to die."
A loud noise of a gun boomed out in the night-sky.
Cliff had closed his eyes, expecting pain, but he had never found any. He opened his eyes, only to find himself bloodier than ever. But then he noticed something.
It wasn't his blood.
The man looked up to find Sean with a red, bleeding hole his forehead. Horror was painted all over his face as he fell down to the ground with no energy at all. Cliff turned around to find a familiar man stretching with a gun on his right hand.
"...I am sure we had met before." said Frank quietly.
It had been several hours since their meeting, and Frank had begun filling in information to the man he had killed back in Willamette. Sure, it was very awkward, but they found themselves become close very quickly. Cliff had a horror-struck expression as he whispered,
"So we're in a land full of ponies? And a shitload of them aren't straight ?!"
Frank grimly nodded as he felt the urge to cry. He seriously did not expect to meet a bunch of pony lesbians in one day, but it felt good to share it with another. Especially since it was a person like him.
"And all of them could talk?"
The photographer nodded again.
"And there are flying Pegasuses and Unicorns? And absolutely every one of the special ones are lesbos?"
Frank shed a tear as he patted Cliff's back, who had begun to shed a manly tear as well.
"Yup." muttered Frank.
The two sat there for a while. It was good to find serenity once again, but the two felt very uneasy now that they knew they were the only ones that were sane humans currently.
"Hey..." began Cliff, "Thanks for saving my ass back there, though. It's hard to imagine you're the same man I met back in Willamette."
Frank took a glance at Cliff before looking at the stars once more.
"Couldn't leave a man in distress now, can I?"
Two chuckles were made, only to be interrupted with a sudden blue thing popping out of a bush. What Cliff saw made his mouth agape in fright.
A cyan-pegasus had appeared in front of him, and it began shouting at him.
"You! Are you a spy?! Are you somehow affiliated with this man in evil corporations or something? Huh?!"
"Dash!" said an aggravated voice. A purple unicorn slowly trotted out of the bushes as she continued, "I think he's a friend of Mr. West here, so I don't think it's best not to bother him."
While Frank prayed to God that the ponies would be sent to Duke Nukem's world, Cliff thanked his luck that he left his machete inside the dirt. He also felt relieved that the body was removed, along with the blood on Cliff (though some water made him feel even colder).
Dash let out a big 'Hmph!' as she crossed her fore-legs. Twilight asked Cliff,
"So... who are you?"
The man answered simply, "The name's Cliff. Cliff Hudson. Don't ask anything more on personal things."
The response seemed to startle the purple unicorn, as well as enrage the Pegasus. Twilight then managed to ask another question, this time with some thought put into it.
"So... are you friends with him?"
Cliff looked at the photographer still praying to God. He smiled as he looked back.
"I guess so."
Much to the two human's relief, the ponies had only arrived a few minutes ago. The group of four walked towards the cottage as many conversations went on. However, Cliff managed to stay silent despite the fact that Frank and Rainbow Dash were constantly arguing over relationships with female ponies. The two stopped and argued like children, while Twilight attempted to stop them. Much to her surprise, however, Cliff ignored the argument and went up the cottage. He knocked on it in the best way possible.
Knock. Knock. KNOCK.
When he knocked, everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at him. He looked back and shrugged sheepishly.
"Instincts."
When he was done, a familiar duo full of anger began to argue once more. Twilight walked towards the door and looked through the peep-hole.
"U-Umm, it's covered right now."
"...What's that supposed to mean?"
Twilight gulped and tried to keep her cool and said, "I think she's hiding and barricading the door."
Cliff turned back to stare at the door intently. After a while, he took out his machete, which Frank had cleaned for him when the ponies weren't looking, and began the chucking the dirt near the door away using his hands and his weapon.
"What're you... doing?" asked Twilight.
"Making a path."
The purple unicorn gulped as she took a look at Cliff's expression. It looked quite emotionless, which had scared her partially. She was surprised when the man finished the path quickly.
"I'll pay for the wood later. In the meantime, I will meet whoever's alone... alone."
Before Twilight could say anything, Cliff quickly scrambled into the path, only to cover it up with dirt once more. Frank had stopped arguing, making Dash ask him curiously.
"Why're you giving that face to me?"
"...I forgot to pay for a window."
The two ponies face-hoofed instantly.
(Author's Notes)
Hey guys! I'm pretty sure that you were surprised at the fact that Cliff was actually a sane man. The reason why I picked him? He seemed to have a grasp of reality when he died in Dead Rising 1, so that actually gave me a good excuse of keeping him sane when he appeared in Equestria.
Also, Sean Greywood is the first psychopath I had ever made. The one thing that's unique about him is the fact that he uses Combo Weapons like Slappy and Reed Wallbeck in DR2. His pistol was slightly based off Slappy's Fire Spitter, but the machine gun took me some time to think about. At first, I considered the fact that Sean could use a chainsaw, but that would lead to the weapon genre itself being abused, so I replaced it with a gun attached to a blade via duct tape.
Dead Rising: Off the World
Chapter 9 - Black Out ----------
Cliff managed to take a peek in the small cottage. He saw many items barricading the front door, along with wooden planks covering the window. There was no source of light, making it incredibly dark. And he hated darkness because it leaves him in a state of confusion.
The man pulled himself out of the hole and covered it up (in a strange fashion). He put up his machete in a defensive stance, ready for anything to pop out of nowhere and begin attacking him.
There was absolute silence... except for the sound of fear.
Small squeals were heard on the floor, but he couldn't see anything. Cliff decided to use one of the dumbest tactics he had ever used in his life; rolling on the floor. He began rolling around, attempting to find the source of the noise, but he failed to do so. The noise began coming from the ceiling.
'I swear to God, if this is yet * another** lunatic, I am definitely going to kill myself.'*
But the Hatchet Man was not ready to give up yet. If he talked, then the 'friend' of the two ponies outside would definitely think he's hostile (considering how the two themselves were intimidated by him when he talked). Cliff came up with a final resort.
'Here goes nothing...'
He lifted his machete up and hacked the floor beneath him with a single swing. A quiet scream was heard above him, and a 'plop' noise was heard behind him. His instincts told him to decapitate whatever it was, which he almost did.
Cliff felt himself turn around slowly. He could see a little better, but not enough to fully grasp what was really in front of him. A yellow Pegasus seemed to cower in his presence.
And for some reason, he blacked out.

Hey guys, I'm sure you're wondering why this chapter is pathetically short.
The next release will be separated into two parts, and I don't want to rush on it to quickly. Part I will be listed in Friday.
After Meet the Element of Kindness will be about 'Generosity'. I'm 100% sure you would know about who this pony is.

Meet the Element of Kindness & Family Man Encounter
Chapter 10 - Meet the Element of Kindness / Family Man Encounter
Cliff opened his eyes to notice that he was sitting on a sofa. He wouldn't have given a crap if he realized that he had been ambushed by someone, or in this case, something. In front of him was the yellow Pegasus, but she seemed to show no signs of suspicious activities. The pony (somehow) carried a cup of tea and placed it on his lap, only to quickly retreat. Cliff only raised an eyebrow at this.
The man drank some of the offered tea and found it pleasant and warm. He sighed as he began questioning the owner of the cottage.
"So you're the one in charge here, am I correct?"
The Pegasus flinched at the deep voice of the human in front of her. She quietly squeaked back,
"Yes..."
"You must've practiced a lot to pull off that trick on me."
Cliff chuckled as he sipped his tea, only to nearly spit it out when the pony suddenly gasped,
"No! "
...
The hatchet man gulped down the tea he had sipped earlier as he placed the cup on the ground. Cliff felt some interest towards the yellow Pegasus.
"Then how did you pull it off?"
"...U-Umm...Angel kicked you..."
Right on cue, a white bunny stomped on Cliff's head, much to his chagrin. The pony gasped and told the bunny to stop making grass out of the man's head... or something like that.
'So I got my ass handed to a white bunny...this would definitely lead to the Matrix if I get a mission to * follow** it...'*
After the pony was apparently done scolding Angel, the human decided to continue their conversation,
"What's your name?"
"..."
The pony whispered out,
"Fluttershy..."
Cliff nodded and looked around the room. He found his hat sitting on a desk nearby him. The man grabbed the hat and wore it slowly. His strength had been depleted because of how comfy the sofa was, which made absolutely no sense to him. He tipped his hat so that Fluttershy wouldn't see his face.
"Outside, there's a friend of mine that wants to meet you. I think he's easier to talk to than me, and I think he's a good guy."
Fluttershy nodded and began trotting towards the barricaded door. She moved the contents back to their respective places, which caused some dust to scatter. When she was done, the pony was about to open the door when Cliff stopped her.
"Just a reminder, but he acts like a dick as well."
Although she didn't exactly know what the comment on Cliff's friend was supposed to mean, Fluttershy nodded and stepped out of the door...
Frank West saw a Pegasus walk out of the cottage.
Frank West said 'Hi'.
Frank West went home.
That's would've happen if Frank wasn't so cocky.
The photographer saw a yellow pony trotting towards him. He pointed at the winged female and shouted,
"Hey... you're Ms. Dash's girlfriend, RIGHT?!"
Before Dash could slam him onto a tree, the yellow Pegasus shyly blushed and shook her head.
"N-No... not at all..."
The unexpected quiet volume of Fluttershy's voice seemed to startle Frank. He gazed into her eyes (with sunglasses on), while she shyly took a look at him. The man walked towards the Pegasus and kneeled so that he could take a closer look at the pony.
'Interesting...is this what Japanese people call * moe** or bi ?...'*
"So I heard you're Fluttershy."
"Y-Yes..."
"I heard that you're kind."
"...I guess..."
"I heard that you're bi."
"...I-I'm not..."
'She's bi.'
Frank sighed as he patted the Pegasus's back and whispered so that only Fluttershy could hear,
"You're much better than these loud 'friends' of yours."
The Pegasus did not respond to this and only looked down on the ground. Twilight asked Frank,
"Introduce yourself, Mr. West. I'm sure she would be curious about who you are."
'No shit.'
The photographer stood up and put his hands in his pockets. He made a quick 'ahem' and said,
"The name's Frank. Frank West. And I broke your window."
While Twilight and Dash facehoofed at the last remark, Fluttershy squeaked out,
"I-It's alright... y-y-you don't have t-to fix anything, sir."
"That'd be Frank for you. I don't like formalities, it makes me sound like a king being ruled under a queen."
The Pegasus only nodded in confusion as the photographer cracked his back. He asked Rainbow Dash,
"Soooooooo have you seen Cliff?"
"I think that dude went into the cottage..."
Frank chuckled as he whispered something in Dash's ear, and surprisingly, she gave off a goofy grin. Fluttershy tilted her head in curiosity while Twilight clearly knew what was going on.
'Let's just hope he's ready for an ambush...'
Cliff had been sitting down for quite a long time by now. The silence was something he loved, and it probably loved him as well. He felt confusion slowly shatter in him as he began putting the pieces of events together ever since he came to the pony-infested world.
The man was now staring at his machete. It was both his partner and his nightmare to him. The machete itself had helped him survive in several battles, but at the same time, it made him into a killing machine back in Willamette. And not only that, but he seemed to be under the weapon's control whenever he fought others with it. He tossed the machete to a chair far away while attempting not to break it.
'I'm just a slave to the misery...'
Footsteps were made in front of him. At first, Cliff disregarded the noise. He would've continued to disregard it if he hadn't noticed that they were human footsteps. Not only this, but he heard Frank laughing in a dumb way outside.
Someone else was alone with him.
He looked up to find himself face-to-face with a man wearing a jacket that had 'IJIEK' written on it. The man had messy hair, an unshaved beard, and eyes that showed he was clearly driven mad. It was yet another psychopath, and Cliff was in a situation where he could not retaliate if the newcomer attacked him.
Cliff had heard about him from Frank earlier; he was a man that went insane after his daughter died in Fortune City. Apparently, the photographer had defeated him once back in Nevada, but much to Cliff's surprise, Frank claimed the fact that he fought the man in the 'lesbo-land'. The man's name was Chuck Greene.
"You're not from here, are you?" asked Chuck.
Cliff shook his head slowly. He had to pick his words wisely, and he needed to make a plan. There were currently two options...
"Me neither... and I'm probably not going to stay here after I hunt down this crazy nutbar I fought earlier..."
One option was to find something that could kill the psychopath. However, there were hardly any tools that were lethal enough to do the job excluding the machete, which was quite far away from him. There was a kitchen knife, but it still had quite a distance from Cliff. The other option...
"He's some type of photographer... I don't know, but he... he... murdered my daughter... I saw the look on her eyes. The look of lifelessness..."
...was to run. Run the hell out. He didn't know how he would do that, but he needed to trust his luck on that one. It should normally be a last resort plan, but he didn't want to take any chances of missing the exit.
"I... I completely changed my goal by then. I felt the impulse to get him back... avenge Katie for what he did..."
Cliff decided to hear out the man a little more.
"I had a daughter to protect. I had one valuable thing left to me, only to lose it when I got careless... it's people like me who would know what to do in order to get revenge..."
Just when the hatchet man decided to make a run for it, Chuck looked towards the broken window and walked towards it. Cliff eyed the insane man closely, but he found out that he was unarmed. The ex-motocross champion looked back at Cliff and said with sorrow,
"I used to have a daughter to protect... but now I have a daughter to avenge. I won't let anything get in my way, and I'm going to do everything in order to kill that murderer."
Chuck jumped out of the window and began running towards a deeper area of the forest. Apparently, he knew that the front door was occupied.
Cliff let his head rest on his hand as he felt tears swelling up in his eyes.
'And I would never have a reason to avenge my own daughter... ever again...
He remembered his memories with his family. The peaceful times where he would hug his daughter, spend time with his wife, and laugh with joy. The memories of him watching his daughter slowly grow up. The memories of him watching movies with his family. The memories of seeing them die in front of his own eyes...
The man stomped his foot on the ground as he silently cried. Although it did feel good to be alive, he was missing an incredibly huge piece of his life. He wanted to meet his family, but he knew that the only way to do so is by death. And there were already several creatures that are trying to be friends with him.
All he wanted was to be reunited with his family. Instead, he found out that living without a family could make things go horribly wrong.
Cliff Hudson had never felt such torture because of his missing family.
(Author's Notes)
Chuck reappears! And then he quickly disappears...
Also, the end was supposed to give off a tearjerker feeling, but I suck at those moments. Remember, psychopath ideas are still open (in fact, they're WAY too open. someone send an idea, dangit!). Frank's still a jerk, and we're going to introduce the two humans the Element of Generosity in the next chapter.
So right now! Let me hear you... MAKE. SOME. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOISE! (a cookie for those who recognize this line in DR2)

Meet the Element of Generosity
Chapter 12 - Meet the Element of Generosity ----------
After several more moments of shedding tears, Cliff stood up and grabbed his machete. He had to make a little handle for the sharp thing before some unlucky fellow gets stabbed by it accidentally.
'Definitely not a healthy thing to think about...'
Cliff knew that his 'friends' were waiting for him, so he decided to do the job as quickly as possible. He looked around the room for some common tools and picked duct tape and wood. The man knew that it wasn't a good combination, but he didn't want to look like Jason Voorhees taking a stroll in the middle of nowhere. After making a simple cover for the weapon, he opened the door but quickly regretted that he did.
Suddenly, Frank West quickly used the flash function in his camera to temporarily blind Cliff. When the flash's effect wore off, he saw a blue blur crying out, "BOO! "
The tall man literally fell on his butt, surprised by the little trap made by Dash and West. He rolled his eyes when the two began rolling on the floor laughing.
"Yeah, real funny."
Twilight could only facehoof herself as she looked at the victim slowly stand up. The group then began to walk towards the town. At times, Fluttershy would take some time to observe the 'humans'. The more looks she took, the more details about how their bodies worked began to show up. Soon enough, they were in 'Ponyville'.
"Damn, this place has some really weird crap if you ask me," muttered Frank.
Fluttershy managed to look up at the photographer before asking, "A-And why is... that?"
"I mean, really. First I meet the princess, who's probably in another castle right now. And I also met her sister. Man, she has some type of killer aura around her..."
Cliff took the time to laugh when Frank referenced a Mario game.
"Then I begin meeting these 'Elements' of this world. Sure, it's nice to meet them all, but the time being consumed to do so is like watching the Team Fortress's 'Meet the Team' six-hundred sixty-six times. And not to mention, but I have to meet a bunch of lesbos that love to hump the sh-"
Twilight, Fluttershy, and Cliff cringed when they saw Frank's skull being squished like a rubber ball. Rainbow Dash's hooves had sent him soaring across the skies, making it hard to see the man for a second. In the air, Frank felt some tears fall out as he saw the beautiful clouds.
"This is... this tingling feeling... is this the feeling you get when you get hit by a lesbian?..."
...
...
...
"WHAT THE HELL, THIS AIN'T THE TIME TO BE THINKING ABOUT THAT! "
Frank screamed like a girl as he fell from the skies like a meteorite. He fell into a wagon full of apples, crushing the whole thing. After a few moments, he stumbled out of it, muttering,
"That didn't exactly feel good..."
"You..." growled a feminine voice.
"Huh?"
Frank felt his face being smashed by two orange baseball bats as he flew again. Applejack put her hooves down as she sighed; now she had to fix the darn wagon!
The photographer fell in front of the entrance of what looked like a fashion store. Cliff's group stood behind him while Frank groaned in pain. Feeling satisfied, Dash trotted inside while stepping on the man in the process. The others were gracious enough to walk around him, but that didn't make Frank feel any better.
-.-.-.-.-
"Rarity! We want to introduce you to some pon-"
"People." whispered Cliff to Twilight.
"-Uh, I mean, 'people'!"
A white unicorn with a purple mane trotted towards the group.
"Hey! Umm..."
Rarity looked up at Cliff, who looked like a gigantic totem pole staring into her soul. She nervously laughed, clearly surprised by the height difference. The man sighed before he crouched.
"Is this better?"
"No offense, but yes! Anyways, I am Rarity! The Element of Generosity. Much like how my title says it, I like being generous towards others. I am also a fashion designer here!"
Cliff smiled as he quietly said, "An elegant lady, I presume. I'm sure that many colts out here would secretly admire you for how dazzling you are!"
The white unicorn slightly blushed, making the rest of Cliff's group freeze. Dash felt herself taking a look at Twilight, who did the same. They instantly thought,
Do you think he's a ladies man?
"Oh, that's a little too much, don't you think?"
Cliff laughed before pointing up a finger to excuse himself for a second. He turned back and said,
"Frank! You should come in, too!"
The photographer, who had been left out for awhile, managed to crawl in. He was dusty, injured, and completely riled up in his own world. In reality, he was just dusty like crazy. Rarity felt her eyes widen as she said,
"In the name of Equestria, what happened to you?!"
"Me? Oh," grunted Frank in pain, "I just learned not to... butt into relationships."
Dash would've started the whole process of kicking again if Rarity didn't respond.
"You need some cleaning to do. Care for a little bit of some time to get clean again?"
The man felt himself collapse on his chest, mumbling,
"Yes, please."
-.-.-.-.-
A few moments later, the dressing room opened it's door as someone in a red dress walked out. It fitted perfectly with the hips, and curves weren't bad either!
Everyone looked away from Frank West, who was the one in the dress.
-.-.-.-.-
The jeans fit him perfectly, and the leather vest also fitted him as well. The black t-shirt inside blended itself with the skin, giving off a casual style.
Cliff said, "You look like a damn punk now."
"SORRY IF I LOOK LIKE A DAMN PUNK! " yelled Frank.
-.-.-.-.-
The white tuxedo gave off a cool feeling, and it made the wearer look like he was brighter than Snow White herself! A white fedora hat completed the whole suit, letting out the aura of a gentleman ooze out.
Cliff said, "Somehow, you look like Michael J*ckson."
"WHY THE HELL DID YOU CENSOR THAT ?! " yelled Frank.
-.-.-.-.-
There was no shirt for this one. Heck, there was no set of pants-
Frank flipped off the author for not giving him enough time to dress.
-.-.-.-.-
The casual and brownish suit gave off the feeling of a normal man who knew what business was. The khaki pants somehow fitted well with the black suit, which had a white undershirt beneath it.
Cliff nodded as he smiled. It was the best outfit that matched Frank's image; full of business, curiosity, and the aura of a normal person. Frank smiled too, realizing that it fit his personality a lot. He put his camera around his neck.
"You suddenly got this gay atmosphere around you, y'know?"
"Cliff, don't make me suplex you..."
-.-.-.-.-
So that was a rather short chapter, but don't worry! The next update's going to include the rest of the elements, while the 'next' next update would begin the freaking plot. Stay tuned!

Out Of Control (Psychopath Included)
Chapter 5 - Out Of Control ----------
Nighttime overcame Ponyville; a time Frank had always feared. Having a crapload of zombies inches away from you in the night truly traumatized him, and even now, he was afraid of the dark. Light was still a valuable partner to him, but it sometimes proved to be useless.
The freelance photographer planned to stay in the library for several days. He didn't want to bother the purple unicorn because the fact that she's a bookworm irritates him. The bed was too small for him, so Frank slept on the floor. However, something bothered him.
He walked out of the entrance of the library silently. What he was planning to do was meant to be a secret, as he saw several things many other ponies probably wouldn't have.
'I saw some weird flashes of light out there...'
Frank silently followed the path to the damn forest. He took out a flashlight that, to his luck, seemed to have full batteries. Clicking the button, an excessive amount of light burst out of the tiny glass. It faced the darkness of the forest, confirming where Frank was going to. He knew something was wrong instantly.
There was absolutely no noise coming from any animal. At first, he thought about considering the fact that the weird-ass place he was in only had creatures in the daylight. However, he did see an owl outside the library once, and owls are nocturnal.
But just when he thought about going back, a familiar noise came in his left side. The noise of a tree branch being stepped on.
Frank twirled around and found nothing. Fearing the worst, he took out his handgun and prepared for any form of combat that would be necessary. This was a correct decision, however, as the noise of two chainsaws blasted right behind him.
----------Psychopath Battle: Adam MacIntyre ----------
What Frank first did was to get the hell away from two deadly blades that just screamed, 'These are just for you.'
He looked behind him, only to find the thing he hated the most; clowns. What was worse? It was a familiar fat clown with red-hair. Oh, and don't forget to add in the fact that he always smiled and laughed.
'First, the guy with a few screws short of a workbench. Now it's the fatass that gave me nightmares about clowns...
Adam asked in a strange child-like voice, "What's wrong, gramps? Who told you that the ride was over?"
"Why the hell are you here, Adam? Those chainsaws literally cut you in half, you sick bastard!"
The insane clown laughed at Frank's intense aura. This caused the photographer to get aggravated and fire several rounds. As expected, Adam deflected the bullets with the pair of gifts sent from his brother.
"Well..." said the clown as he slowly looked up to see Frank, "You did stop the ride, gramps. And I don't think flashlights were supposed to be allowed!"
Adam's right chainsaw deactivated as the noise from it died out. He dropped it, only to suddenly grab something and throw it at Frank. The photographer raised a hand up and attempted to block it with his flashlight. Once he did, however, his only source of light began to flicker as he realized what exactly hit it.
"Aw, shit..." mumbled Frank as the hunting knife was pointing directly at his face. He looked up, only to find the chainsaw-wielding psychopath dashing at him. However, even if the lunatic did have some neat tricks, he had some of his own.
Adam began rolling towards Frank in the similar fashion he did in Willamette. However, he seemed to be much faster than he normally was, making his prey startled by the high-speed. The clown stood up just in time to swing both chainsaws in an 'X' fashion, but missed Frank. Barely.
Frank began firing several rounds at the clown to distract him. He began to contemplate with a very short amount of ample time,
'If this guy was hard-headed as Chuck, than I could use the same method I used before in order to kill him. But I know he's clever despite his stupid IQ...' thought Frank as he proceeded to jump back just in time before a hunting knife stabbed him right in the chest.
'The only source of light I have is that flashlight, but it's keep on flickering as if it's teasing me! Dammit, think Frank West! Think!'
Just when he thought about firing once more, the clown pulled off a new trick; he jumped up and grabbed onto a tree. He then proceeded to jump from tree-to-tree, approaching Frank in a stranger method.
"Dammit, stay still you fatass!"
"HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! "
Adam abruptly cut off the process and landed in front of the photographer. However, the fall did inflict some pain in the clown, giving Frank a chance to pull off a cheap trick that Chuck had once used on him. He ran towards the clown without hesitation. As expected, the clown hesitated to attack, but did proceed to run towards him and laugh once more. When they were in a point-blank range, the photographer slid on the ground with his back and took away Adam's left chainsaw.
While Frank stood up, the clown threw a knife expertly at his enemy. The knife, however, was deflected by the chainsaw that Adam had been using once. The sane man grinned smugly.
"Dejavu could be one hell of a bastard."
But to his surprise, the photographer heard something that he didn't expect would come out of Adam's mouth; he screamed in rage. It sounded terrible just to listen to, as it made Frank cover his ears.
"No one uses my brother's gift against me. No one."
As soon as he was done, the clown began laughing once more. The insane man lunged towards Frank, attempting to saw his prey in half. Frank dropped his chainsaw and expertly dodged the attack, tripping Adam in the process. He knew the battle was over as soon as blood was painted all over him.
It happened again. Adam died laughing while two chainsaws sawed him in half. Frank felt drowsy just by listening and seeing the event happen once more in front of him. As soon as the clown stopped laughing, he turned off the chainsaws mercifully.
"I saw his stupid prank." said Frank sarcastically.
As soon as several minutes passed with the body lying on the ground, Frank began making a graveyard with his hands. He wanted the damn clown to stay in a grave before he came back out alive miraculously like Chuck Greene.
'Since Adam was in the source of light, then that means it must've somehow transported himself in here. I don't know how this happened, but those other sources of light... I'm worried about them.'
Tired from the battle, Frank thought about walking back to Ponyville after the graveyard was fully created. However, he realized one thing he would need to explain.
'...I'll just put the clothes in the laundry. They'll get over it.'
(Author's Notes)
I know I've been leaving out the Mane Six out for a while, but I'll try to make up for their absence. In the meantime, I hope you enjoyed the gory battle! It was something I had wanted to do for quite a while by now. Also, Psychopath Battles will become slightly absent, because I am now creating several original psychopaths as well. PM me for ideas, but don't expect me to accept them freely, because I want the psychopaths to develop a battle that's actually interesting.

Bonus Joke Chapter: Family Man Encounter Outtake
Just when the hatchet man decided to make a run for it, Chuck looked towards the broken window and walked towards it. Cliff eyed the insane man closely, but he found out that he was unarmed. The ex-motocross champion looked back at Cliff and said with sorrow,
"I used to have a daughter to protect..."

"...but then she got a zombie on her knee."
"CUT !" yelled out some dude sitting on a chair. "Dang it, Chuck. Curse you and your stupid one-liners..."
Chuck shrugged as Cliff began rolling on the floor laughing. The man managed to stand up and barely make out the words,
"He.. He.. Wow, you should've just look at the expression on your FACE, man! Oh my God, Oh..."
Frank kicked the door open with a crapload of sodas in his arms.
"Yo dudes! Dash provided me some of these, so I decided that a refreshment after a major screw-up would be nice."
A drunken Celestia burst into the house through the ceiling as she went right up in front of Frank's face.
"WHY HULLO THAR"
The director shook his head as he asked Chuck,
"Is this what they do in their usual freetime?"
The man responded,
"Do you think this is even the beginning of their freetime?"
And so, the world imploded and barfed out 300 Nyan Cats that destroyed over 9001 planets that had toasters in their knees.
