Chapter 1: A Deal For A New LifeView OnlineFriends,Family,PoniesChapter 1: A Deal For A New LifeFriends,Family, Ponies By Sparknanator ______________________________________________________________________________ I got up out of my bed; like everyday, same thing as always, nothing much to do in the morning; get up, brush my teeth, eat my morning meal. There is never really anything going on in the world, so excitement is hard to get nowadays, since my father passed away just about a week and a half ago. Ever since my mother abandoned us a couple of years ago, I decided to keep looking after him every hour of everyday, giving him what he needs; food, drinks, I even went out to the shop for him. My mother left when I was only thirteen-years-old, after that, I had decided to get a job at that age to pay our rent and other taxes. My life hasn’t been good in the past nine years, but it was bearable at least. Now I am on my own in my father’s home, with nothing to do. I went down the main stairwell after I got my average cheap clothing on and took a shower, brushed my teeth, done all that. Anyway, I went down the stairs to sit down in my only recliner in the house, switching on the television to watch the international news channel: Sky News. There was nothing interesting on the news. However, I just found out that there was a great tsunami in Japan after an apparent earthquake hit the coast. It was pretty shocking; It was sad, but I had more important things to do. I was just about to switch off the television when I began to notice a strange light cascading from the front windows into the main living area; it intrigued me. I work at a local office in the centre of town, I get paid minimum wage, but it is my job and I appreciate that they took me in after one of their previous staff got fired for stealing money. I was originally planning to switch off the television and then going to grab my pre-prepared briefcase for work, but after I noticed this odd light, I just had to check it out. I forgot about being on schedule to get to work, but being distracted is a pain in the ass. I left the front entrance; locking the door behind me. I began to wonder around the whole block to check on the source of the light, it may have been either a car, or just myself being crazy. I kept going around the block from what I remember was about three times; until I noticed a light emerging from the main alley in the street block. I stood there, staring at the light for approximately five seconds as I hesitated to move. Suddenly, the light went at a very fast speed towards my home. Oh God, what is it going to do? My house could blow up! I began to thought as I run after the paranormal light. I was running as fast as I ever could. As the light entered the front window of my now empty house, I was about twenty metres away. When I finally reached the front entrance; I immediately began to open it, dropping my keys several times in the process. Alas, as I open the door (almost breaking it in) I began to run into the main living area. As nothing was there, I was baffled at the site of my front room just the same without the lights on. After about five minutes of just standing in my main living area looking confused; I heard a noise (almost like a rustle) coming from my small dining area. What the hell was that... I thought to myself as I grabbed something from the my pocket, it was my dad’s old gun i kept with me. As I stayed close to the walls; gun in my grasp. As I began to hear was I presume were footsteps on the floorboard of the dining area, I began to panic. As I was about to literally shoot the gun at the source of footsteps, a figure emerged from the other entrance of the dining area. I was shocked at the magnificent sight. I blinked a few times confused at what I thought I saw. I placed the gun on a coffee table and turned around rubbing my forehead. “ This cannot be really happening Princess Celestia is made up… it make no flip’n sense , when I turn around I am not going to see a talking Alicorn in my hallway … one … two… three… ” opening my eyes I am face to muzzled with a white multicolored Alicorn aka Princess Celestia… I felt like fainting right there and then backing away slowly I reached for the gun, but it was lifted by itself …for some reason i felt like obwian was saying ‘Use the Force Luke’ …snapping out of my self induced meme. I watch the gun be taken apart by a golden force field holding it in the air. Now more scared than ever realizing I was going to brony hell for this. I prayed this was a dream I thought to myself “There is no need to be scared Damian i am not here to harm you” Celestia said in a calm gentle tone “And there is no such place as brony hell” She added i gave a nervous laugh as a way of saying i did not think there was even a place called that after the awkward laugh she kept smiling it calmed me down knowing that Celestia was not pissed or they're here to hurt me but what is she here for “Well if you are not here to hurt me then what are you here for Princess” I asked now calmer she took a deep breath i did not like where this was going i was back to pants shitting mode again i swear i think she is pulling a trollestia on me right now.....OH GOD DON’T LET HER GO MOLESTIA! “Damian i want to make a deal with you i know you never got to have a real childhood i have spoken to my faithful student and she agreed to adopt you so to speak you are welcome to come back to this world anytime you choose” Celestia said looking me right in the eyes i really wanted to do what Twilight did on the cutie mark chronicles episode but i did not want to seem stupid “Wait you're offering to take me to Equestria with you as a pony am i getting this right?” I asked in shock. “Yes i am you are wel-” she did not even get to finish before i interrupted her. “Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes please take me now!” I shouted bouncing like moron.....don’t judge me i know half of you would have done the same thing i mean come on. Celestia just laughed “Well then lets go.” She said after that there was a light it engulfed both of us then everything became peaceful,and had a serene calmness. When I awoke there was something off about me everything felt bigger and i felt smaller I looked down to see i had hooves not hands. Ok everypony i know i am making a new story big deal but i need a name should it be Nova or Dusk I think Nova
Chapter 2: Adjusting View OnlineFriends,Family,PoniesChapter 2: Adjusting Chapter 2: Adjusting Friends,Family,Ponies By Sparknanator ______________________________________________________________________________ When I awoke there was something off about me everything felt bigger and i felt smaller I looked down to see I had hooves not hands.I looked around the room to see I was in canterlot castle my jaw dropped at the amazing sight “Welcome to Canterlot Damian.” Celestia said “Oh wow I can’t wait to throw you a BIG welcome party” A pink mare said I knew who it was right when I saw her “There is going to be cake,candy,games like pin the tail on the pony” Pinkie said trailing off “Well thank you Pinkie Pie” I said looking at her shocked face....holy crap i was able to shut Pinkie Pie up QUICK SOMEPONY RECORD THIS MOMENT IN HISTORY “Princess if it is alright with you i would like to change my name to something else” “What would you like your new name to be Damian?” Celestia asked looking into my eyes just looking at her eye’s is calming to me “Well i have thought of a few names and i would like to be renamed Nova i don’t know why but it seems suiting to me” I stated trying to look serious.....I looked goofy as hell “It fits you well, Nova.” Celestia said “I think it is a good name welcome to Equestria Nova” A lavender mare said looking at me next thing I knew the whole main six were standing right beside her “Nice to meet you. My name is Twilight Sparkle.” “I know that you are Twilight Sparkle and that is Fluttershy,Rarity,AppleJack,Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie” I said with a smug grin “Wow. How did you know all their names, Nova?” Twilight asked surprised I let out a little laugh which turned into a full blown laugh “What’s so funny?” Rainbow asked “He knows about us Rainbow Dash it seems funny to him because well i do not know why he is laughing like that” Celestia explained “But if i may speak with him alone I would appreciate that” She said over my laughter i swear the wrong pony might think I am high They six of them nodded and left Celestia and I alone so we could talk in private after a few minutes of tension I ran up and hugged her this was a shock to Celestia at first but she returned the hug using her wings as a barrier so to speak next thing I knew I sobbing into her chest “I know sometimes it is a little too much to take in all at once” Celestia said rubbing my back but I was not crying out of sadness it was pure happiness “Thank you Princess you don’t know how much this means to me being able just to be a kid i was never able to do that thank you” I said finally calming down a little Celestia smiled. “I was happy to help you, Nova.” “Well lets go on and I don’t know what now?” I asked slightly confused as the main six walked back in “Oh ya i kinda forgot you were here my bad” “Well I think it is time to go home” Twilight said levitating me up from my previous sitting position “Wait we are going to PonyVille right now?” I asked looking confused “Oh but of course darling do you think Twilight still lives here” Rarity said with a giggle “But Nova there is one thing you should know you are two or three years younger than as you call them in your world the CMC” Celestia said “And they have their cutie marks” I was in shock I did not know it had been three years here I guess the one day here is a year on earth thing is not true TAKE THAT FANFICS “Well that sucks” “Well umm lets go if you're ready that is” Fluttershy said to me trying to hide behind her mane it was so cute I just about died from the cuteness. The main six left after a while and I was with Twilight.standing there like it was an awkward silence contest it kinda felt like one until Twilight decided to break the silence thank goodness. “Well Nova are you ready to go to your new home?” Twilight asked me I am not going to lie I am a little scared but I know that they can be trusted I just nodded. “Yes Twilight. I am ready to see my new home.” I said while still nodding like an idiot until Twilight stopped my nodding and was I glad my head was starting to hurt with that all of us started walking to the train station. ______________________________________________________________________________ All of us got on the train and i gotta say it was HUGE well it might just be that i was now the size of a young colt now and the age of one now but either way it was so cool I would have ran in there but i was caught in a blue magical grip I look behind myself to see Rarity holding me in her magic it scared the heck out of me when she levitated me. “Not so fast darling you can’t go running about like a hooligan its very uncouth” Rarity said.....how did I know that is what she was going to say Oh wait now i know that is what she says to EVERYTHING! I mean I am still young so who knows” I said, looking at her “But I can try” I then started channeling magic to my horn......all it did was spark well I guess I will have to learn it. “Keep trying when we get home Nova.I am sure you will at least be able to levitate something” Twilight said as the train started to move I then stretched my legs I got to say walking on all fours is not that hard. “Ok good the train is moving can I get some food now please?” I asked jumping out of my seat shaking my head. “Sure, go ahead Nova.” Twilight said. “Twi don’cha think he should have some kinda adult supervision ah mean he is a foal now” AppleJack asked It sounded more like she was stating something to me but shaddup. “I’ll go with him. Come on Nova, lets get you some food.” Twilight said as she started trotting it took me a minute to realize it when it finally hit me I ran trying to catch up to her boy even when she walks she is fast! “Hey wait for me” I said running after Twilight as she stopped walking. “Sorry Nova!” Twilight said, slowing down as I caught up to her once again SHE IS FAST JUST WALKING! “Its fine Twilight you are fast” Once again she is fast I think its where I am young and I have stubby legs and she is tall! “i’ll help you with your problem, Nova.” She said and lifted me onto her back with her magic I gotta say it took a lot not to fall off which I almost fell off more than once gotta love that magic. “Thanks Twilight but how can you walk faster than me IT MAKES NO SENSE” I half shouted that last part BUT WHO CARES BECAUSE I DON’T FOOL! But still in a manner it is nice to be able to be carried and well I am enjoying being young again I am starting to like this already! But come on you can’t say if you got this offer you would not take it if you say no than you are a dumbass! But the only thing that I wondered was am I going to have a freaking bed-time now.If so that will suck and it is going to suck badly OH PLEASE DON’T LET ME HAVE A BEDTIME IF SO THEN LIFE WILL SUCK onto pressing manners my stomach is growling like I guess a timberwolf I don’t know pony language that well pardon me all i know is anypony or somepony so shaddup. “Nova please do not yell and it is simple you are shorter then me” Twilight explained wow having her explain things is really dull I wonder if I could mess with her a little by just talking about advanced still that would be funny. “Sorry Twilight I am not some little foal.......I don’t want to hear it from you” I stated once again trying to sound serious but utterly failing instead i look dumb again who cares as long as Rarity does NOT make me model for her then we are fine.”Either way I am happy as long as Rarity does not make me model clothing for her and for that matter Hey look food finally” Twilight just sighed and rolled her eyes What I had a short attention span as a child don’t blame me. ______________________________________________________________________________ It has finally reached around 8:30 at night and I was finding it IMPOSSIBLE to keep my eye’s open I was stumbling around like a child but still this sucks I felt like I was going to fall asleep any second.Next thing I knew I was levitated into what felt like a bed I looked and saw it had curtains than when I looked down I saw the others laying in beds it was then I noticed these were the beds from that one episode......Sorry i can’t remember but who cares only thing is I was too tired to even keep my eyes open next thing i knew I was sleeping.

Please somepony knock me out, I don’t care how. Just.....hit me in the head with a glass bottle or even a...that is all I can really think of. I talk to myself too much, these ponies might think I am crazy if they knew I was talking to myself. “Morning Nova.” Twilight greeted me seeing I had not opened my eyes yet I can’t help it ok? My eyes are sensitive to sunlight when I first wake up. “Nova are you going to open your eyes yet?” I wanted to answer, but I mean come on, I am thirsty. You know the feeling when you wake up, you are thirsty as hell! That is how I feel right now. I mean, I could go back to sleep OR I could reply to her in a timely fashion.”Nova are you alright?” “Huh? Yeah I am fine Twilight sorry about that. Just a little tired, that’s all.” I stated with a yawn which earned a giggle from Twilight. “What? It’s not funny and where are we anyway?” I finally decided to open my eyes. You know back when at home on Earth, if someone did that to me I would flip them the bird but I do not have fingers so I can’t do that but still I wonder where Spike is “Hey Twilight where is Spi-” I was interrupted by a belch making me jump then a little girl screamed I mean you have heard a little girls scream but this was just wow it sounded like something from a hor- “Nova are you alright that was just Spike when he burps most of the time then it is a letter from the Princess” Twilight explained to me I know I am sounding like a broken record but she was speaking to me like I am a child I gotta say it is getting annoying “Yes I know that and the way he sends letters is by breathing fire on them and I did not scream like a little girl that was....uhhh uhhh uuhhh HEY LOOK A DISTRACTION!” I pointed my hoof in a random direction shockingly enough Twilight looked the way I pointed and I ran before being levitated wow that sucked all I know is I was laughing why the hell am I laughing “Lets see all the letter is saying is that the Princess wants Nova to get a check up and then she wants him to start school” Said by the cubby baby dragon Yeah thats right Spike I am talking about you come at me bro pfft thats what I thought punk “Thank you Spike now back to you Nova I know you don’t want to start school again but you have to alright” Twilight said to ME once again I am getting a little annoyed with her treating me like a child I guess I have to get used to it as I was saying thou- WAIT DOCTOR?!? “Ummm Twilight please say the doctor thing was a joke I kinda hate doctors” I sounded like Fluttershy the way I was talking but STILL I HATE DOCTORS nothing against them but the whole getting vaccinations that is what makes it worse just the idea for getting a needle put in me its not that I doctors just the thought of getting blood work done is what scares me or just having a needle stuck in my arm I HATE NEEDLES THEY MAKE ME CRY......crap I just admitted that who cares its true “Nope sorry Nova but we need to make sure you are healthy” Twilight said what wrong have I done sweet celestia what wrong have I done deserve this punishment nothing thats what either way it seems they hate me I mean come on a needle think about it “Nova you their snap out of it” Twilight said waving a hoof in my face I hate it when people did that “Yes I am fine Twilight don’t worry just thinking to myself” I was really bored I love libraries but living in one is going to bore the crap out of me OH MAN THIS SUCKS I wonder if any of my friends would believe where I am right now I know a certain person who would get diabetes and die from Fluttershy’s cuteness one of my best friends Jero or if he came here I guess Shadow Breeze. “Hey Nova I am making sandwiches for lunch is that alright with you?” Twilight asked looking at me I really really am not looking forward to starting kindergarten either way a sandwich sounds GOOD I haven’t eaten since the train ride so food sounds good right now “Ya sandwiches sound good” I know I know it seems like I am acting like a child but shaddup. I wonder if Cheerilee is going to be my teacher if so than it sounds alright after a few seconds there was a knock at the door ______________________________________________________________________________ When I walked down stairs I saw a butter yellow pegasus yummm butter....Sorry sorry I got distracted But I saw Fluttershy and a shaded-grey pegasus my jaw ended up slamming on the floor when I saw him. “Nova don’t stare its ju-” I interrupted Twilight I know big deal I interrupted her get over it fool “No freaking way, Jero!?” I squeaked out Okay everypony I hope you like the chapter now if you are wondering who Jero is he is from Living Between Worlds this is not a crossover fic with them. Jero!?” I squeaked out ______________________________________________________________________________ I stood there, mouth agape, looking at the shaded-grey pegasus. I just could not take my eyes off him. Jero’s parents said he left town, but they never, and I mean NEVER, said this is where he was at. I was swaying side to side like a drunk person, or in this case, a drunk pony. I felt like I was going to faint, but instead I slammed my head on the coffee table. The impact freaking hurt so much that I wanted to throw up from the pain. I already had a massive migraine, oh sweet celestia, make the pain stop. I felt tears forming in my eyes, not from the shock, but from the pain. “Oh my goodness, are you ok Nova?” Fluttershy asked, rushing to my side. I pushed her away. I was not trying to be very rude, but I did not want to look weak. I mean come on, just because I slammed my head on a table. I stood up a little light headed from the impact of skull on table. I really wanted some help, but NO, I could not show any sign of weakness, no matter what be it- Next thing I knew I was being lifted up in the air. “Woah, hey, put me down!” I said, looking to see the shaded-grey pegasus that made me go into shock like that. It was Jero, but why is he his OC Shadow Breeze, please explain that logic to me! Seeing as he never got to have a real childhood, Princess Celestia made a deal to let him have the childhood he never had. So your friend took the deal and chose to be renamed Nova.” Twilight explained while I tried to hide in a pillow. I felt ashamed for some reason don’t know why but I felt ashamed . “Yup, all of that is very true.” I stated, almost fainting from the tension again. Please somepony help me, I feel like I will pass out. “Hey Twili-” everything went black ______________________________________________________________________________ I woke up to the sound of voices. They were muffled through the door, but still they were voices. Then I heard my name. What are they talking about? Is it bad? Or is it good? What could be that important? Maybe if I go out there and see what all the buzz is about, or I could keep my lazy flank on this bed.....that is what I will do. Wait if they have something to say about me, then they can say it to my face, come at me bro! Ya that’s what I thought. “Here, I am going to check on him.” I think it was Twilight, but still everything is still fuzzy where I just woke up. My head is still hurting where I slammed it on that table. I put my hoof on my head. I felt some gauze, so I guess they got a doctor over here, or did Fluttershy do this? I hope this headache stops soon. A second later, Twilight walked inside the room “Hey Nova, are you awake?” “Huh yeah, I'm awake. Everything is just a little fuzzy, that’s all.” I said with a cough. Crap, that felt like a knife scraping on my rib cage. I shuddered when I thought of a story that scares me a little. “Hey Twilight, who bandaged my head?” Wait, what if Doctor Whooves is a real doctor? OH and what if Colgate is a dentist.......that last one would suck. “Oh, that was Fluttershy. Don’t worry, she said you just need some rest, that is about it. Oh, and Jero had some help, he told me everything.” Twilight stated with a warm smile. It felt like she was hugging me with a smile. I know it sounds cheesy but it is true. I mean, in my current state, with a head injury; it was from shock, well that and collision, with a table and let me say, it hurt like hell. I then tried getting up, only to be pushed back down. I looked and saw Twilight holding me down, shaking her head. “No Nova, you need to stay in bed.” But what she did not know is I had to piss something fierce. “Umm Twilight, I really need to use the bathroom, so please MOVE MARE, I NEED TO PISS!!” I shouted at the top of my lungs, taking off for the bathroom like my life depended on it; My bladder did. After what felt like years I walked out of the bathroom to see Twilight giving me a disappointed look. “What? I can’t help it if I needed to use the bathroom, sorry.” She still kept giving me that look. Sorry I had to use the restroom; maybe it was the way I said it...who knows? “You know, I read a medical book and it said that with a head injury you should not run like that, it’s dangerous.” Once again Twilight was lecturing me why does she keep doing that she acts like I do not know this stuff and I know this stuff so she needs to quit scolding me “Hey Twilight can you stop doing that scolding me I know this stuff” I am trying to be nice I really need a drink well not alcohol I was never really a big drinker “Hey Twilight can I have a soda?” I looked at the clock its like nine at night how long was I out for? The sight of it made me HUNGRY. Still, I’ve always had a thing for baking... I don’t know why but I have always loved trying new things, new recipes, just mixing up whatever ingredient I thought could go well together. I could even make my grandmothers brownies, may her soul rest in peace. When we arrived I was zipped into the kitchen and boy did that make a dizzy... WAIT is Derpy’s name Ditzy Doo here or is it Derpy Hooves...? Meh, I will ask later on or find out. “Hey Nova, can you taste a cupcake for me?” Pinkie asked. Aww crap, I had a feeling I was going to die. This is just how that Cupcake fic started. Welp either way it’s a free cupcake. I took the cupcake and started munching on it, and I gotta say it was freaking good. “Wow Pinkie, that was good! Well, it was better than I thought it would be.” I said hoping it didn't insult her or make her feel sad or something along the lines as any possible feeling that could bring her ‘other’ side out... but still she is an amazing baker “So when do we get started with the baking and whatnot?” ‘Whatnot’? God, I sound like my grandfather! “Oh, we can start right now but first I need...” Pinkie inhaled deeply... This gonna be good “I need some Eggsflourcinnamonbutterandmilkohohohandvanillaextract. Oh! Just talking about cupcakes makes me feel so hyper! Ijustwanttoeatawholetrayrightnowjustthinkingaboutit!” Holy crap, that was just... Wow... but I still caught all of what she said. I went to the fridge, which was not that hard to notice, I took a few eggs out and the butter. I looked around and found the flour on top of the shelves. I grabbed one and placed it on the table next to the butter and the eggs. On my last sweep of the room, I saw the spice rack. I quickly read over the named until I found cinnamon... which was one of the emptiest of the bunch. I finally placed the last piece of the cupcake kit on the table. Baking cupcakes with Pinkie Pie... This. Is. Awesome “Hey Pinkie, you going to sing your cupcake song?” I asked, but by the way Pinkie’s eyes light up, I already knew the answer. Best part was that she was happy and that’s all I cared about. After a second Pinkie pulled me up into one of the biggest hugs imaginable, I could not help but to laugh and hug her back. She is such a sweet and kind mare... I wonder if I could somehow get into Celestia’s school...Meh I will ask or find out later as soon as I can use magic without wanting to pass out when i’m done ________________________________________________________________________________ After an eventful hour, or maybe five since I think I lost track after a while, I had somehow gotten the cupcake batter on my mane! And let me tell you, once it’s in there it is damnwell hard to get it out. I kept trying to pass my hoof through my mane trying to get some of it out only to hear Pinkie shout “Hey Nova, I got you a bath ready!” I just jumped when she suddenly popped up behind me and picked me up, carrying me to the bathroom. Once she opened the door, she launched me out of her hooves and into the tub... It was a long tossing distance, and even harder to do when you’re throwing something that’s about your same weight and did not stop squirming. “Uhh thanks Pinkie, but I think I can take care of it from here.” I said to Pinkie. She gave me a nod and walked out of the bathroom.after a little bit of relaxing while the batter melted off I felt as if something was gnawing at my leg, when I lifted it up there he was, none other than Gummy. I dropped him out of the tub so I could finish up. Is it just me or does the shampoo smell like cotton candy? That might belong to Pinkie... I had finally finished up in the bath. Turning the valves and jumping out, I noticed Pinkie placed a towel at my reach so I wouldn't have to walk too far... only for it to fall over my body and making me look like an orange ghost. When I took that towel off, it got it snagged on my horn. I kept trying to pull it off, but much to my dismay I could not get it off. There was only one thing left that I could do. “Help! For the love of Celestia, get this demonic piece of cloth off of my head!” I shouted only to be pulled up by the towel. My eyes widened from the pain. I looked and saw it was Pinkie pulling on the towel “Pinkie, stahp! It hurts!” I squeaked out hearing a dramatic gasp, I looked again and saw that it was was Rarity. I saw her horn glow as I was being placed on the ground and the towel being gently levitated off... Finally. “Oh darling, this is not good!” Rarity said inspecting my horn. She had me a little scared the way she said that and the expression on her face while she looked at my horn “Well, Nova, don’t you worry.” I hope she does not say Auntie Rarity “No need to worry Nova, Auntie Rarity will get that horn fixed up!” But... In the waiting room the smell of anesthetics and cleaning supplies. Woohoo! “Nova Sparkle” Wait a second first of all is that Nurse Redheart and for that matter did I really get Twilight’s last name? “Nova Sparkle you can come back now” So yes that is Redheart and yes I did get Twilight’s last name well isn’t this a bag of joy. With that both Twilight and I were lead to a colorful room and just sat there waiting for a doctor once again. We pla- Wait is that Jero and Fluttershy what are they doing here? I think they are here to hold me down while that accursed needle penetrates my flesh. There are two things I hate one being needles and two people who act like they are better than me. “Hi Nova me and Jero are going to be your doctors well he is your doctor I am just the nurse” Fluttershy as a nurse I could see it even if I was not here “Well he is a pediatrician really” Twilight said looking right at me Damn it why a pediatrician? I know I know a young colt and all that, still though looking at Jero holding up that medical chart like I have been here before which in truth I have not. “Well Da-Nova let’s check your weight first then we can get started” Jero said. At least he is not speaking to me like I ‘am child then I would have to I dunno I guess the whole kick his flank to Canterlot and back threat seems old now but I guess I can use it one more time. Well either way this scale looks oddly enough like one from earth “Wow you are forty seven pounds” Wow Jero just wow I know I have always been a scrawny little bean pole but I can hold my own in a fight. “Nova I will be right back I need to use the restroom” Twilight said as she trotted out of the room leaving me, Jero and Fluttershy all I can say is these bed tabley things are cold yet comfortable at the same time. “Okay now I need you to breathe in and breathe out” Fluttershy squeaked out. Which I know the drill by now so I did as she asked “Good everything seems to be in order their” Fluttershy as a nurse is just the most adorable thing ever...Why does Jero have three needles? Aww crap. “Okay now just ho-”Jero was cut off by how fast I ran out of that room and let me tell you it left a blue puff of smoke behind “Why did I have a feeling he would do that” Jero deadpanned “Oh my, is he alright?” Fluttershy asked seeing Jero with a deadpanned expression as Twilight walked in the room “Oh good did you give him the shots?” Twilight asked “Well no he ran off right when he saw the needles” Jero stated when Twilight hummed “What is it Twilight?” “Oh nothing but I may or may not have used a tracking spell on him” Twilight giggled “He is not far from us” “Umm how do you know that” Fluttershy asked “A simple tracking spell that’s all it took” Twilight said ________________________________________________________________________________ I had finally gotten what felt like a far enough distance away from Twilight, Jero and Fluttershy or so I thought I heard.“Found him” I heard Twilight shout. After that I took off in a gallop I just hate needles, but after a good half hour of running I was running out of breath, but when I tripped I knew it was all over, I was going to get a needle stuck in my flank all hope is lost. “Got him” Fluttershy said as she picked me up now hovering back to the room. I give up they can do what they want, when we finally arrived at the room which would help me meet my demise, Fluttershy sat me down on said examination table “Here I will hold him down” Twilight said as her magic held me down. I was hyperventilating from the fear of a needle about to stab into my flesh, I squeaked waiting for the impact. “There and done” I heard Jero say Wait did he really just say done? I despise needles they need to die....Huh that sounded funnier in my head but still that was fast, I smell something fishy going on, come on everypony how much you do want to bet that I will end up getting sick from this. “There Nova that did not hurt at all did it?” Fluttershy said sweetly to me. But yes it did in fact hurt thank you for reminding me. “Yes in fact it hurt something fierce” I stated rubbing my flank.only to hear a giggle “What's so funny?” I was hoping somepony else was laughing “It was not that bad Nova” Twilight said between giggles seriously its not funny it hurt but still hopefully we can leave this place of torture sooner or later I hope for NOW!
Side Chapter: My First Letter To The PrincessView OnlineFriends,Family,PoniesSide Chapter: My First Letter To The PrincessFriends,Family,Ponies By Sparknanator ________________________________________________________________________________ Dear Princess Celestia, The short amount of time I have been in Equestria I must say I have enjoyed every second everypony is very kind towards me and well I am shocked to say the least I also found out that you had brought one of my best friends here Jero I have known him since high school and I got to say it is great to see him again I am now a member of the second generation of the Cutie Mark Crusaders the other members consists of Ruby Pinch daughter of Berry Punch, Dinky daughter of Ditzy Doo and Rumble I do not know who his parents are I will ask him though Also when you suggested I go to school here I had my doubts seeing as I have been to school before but it is fun actually Cheerilee is very nice calm and patient she helps anypony with any problems they have be it at home or school I did not expect the offer you made me to live a second ~~childhood~~ foalhood to be so fun I thought living with Twilight would be boring seeing as she lives in a library do not get me wrong I do enjoy a good book every now and then and Twilight has quite a big selection of them Rarity asked me to try on some clothing designs for colts she is making I will not lie it sounds really dull I can not stand still for hours at a time like that I can if I have some music or something I also heard something about Vinyl Scratch doing a concert in Ponyville soon so I would like to see what type of music you have here so I will try and speak with Twilight about letting me go I also heard that well not heard but almost got burned when you sent some tickets to the gala to Twilight but I am curious as to why you sent nine of them I am sure you have some kind of plan with that I know this letter seems like I am speaking to you for some reason I just want to make this as casual as possible I also read a good little book about different cutie marks I learned that someponies have cutie marks that stand for magic But Twilight’s is the rarest out of all of them Twilight’s means she has a deep connection with magic the rarest out of them all I also went to Sweetie Drops little shop I must say for a candy shop I just can not comment she makes all of the ingredients from nothing they are amazing I also wish to speak to you soon to ask a few questions that I never got to ask also if you could send a letter to Twilight asking her to lay off me she makes me study too much I would not mind if it was a hour or two everyday but no she makes me study from when I get home until dinner I also can not wait to see the summer sun celebration Sincerely Nova Sparkle P.S. It’s been fun. I still have to deal with Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon everyday so there are some downsides to it, but other than that everything is perfect. In the middle of class today Cheerilee received a letter from Twilight telling me to meet Jero at Fluttershy’s cottage after school. Still, the walk there is long and I usually tire myself out halfway there. “Why does Fluttershy have to live SO far away?” I thought out loud... Still, it’s nice to have a friend I know from home here in Equestria. Someone who actually know my human side other than just my pony side. “I hope my old boss enjoys the ‘gift’ I sent him...” Heh, a fruit bouquet... with a dead rat in the center, with a note in it’s mouth saying “I hope the smell stays here longer than I did, I quit.”. It was a douche move on my behalf... Heh... I feel nostalgic. I haven’t been back home in months, I hope everybody I know is well. I should go back and visit them soon...ish or whenever I feel like it, but at least I mastered levitation. “Hey, blank flank, what are you doing here?” Oh come on! I continued making my way to Fluttershy’s, I love how she is scared of the Everfree yet she decides to live so close to it. I let out a small laugh, it’s kinda funny when you think about it “Hmm, I wonder what Jero wants to show me.” I thought out loud as I continued trotting. I wonder, if I went back to earth still looking like a pony what people would freak out and if they would accept... well, a talking pony? If I’m right they would most likely take me to some crazy government facility and experiment on me, oh how much fun that would be! Anyway, while walking I felt something hit my muzzle and it didn't get any better when I looked up I saw a royal guard. Weird, he wore a purple armor... where have I seen this before? “Aww crap, what did I do?” I thought out loud. Well now I know why he looked familiar! “Oh yeah! Twilight talks about you... a lot.” I said with a chuckle, “I’m Nova by the way.” I held my hoof out which he shook somehow... I am not going to question the how, but he did alright.Still though, he seems like a nice pony. I am sure he does not get anything like Twilight does or at least I hope not. “So where are you headed kiddo?” Great, now Shining Armor is speaking to me like a child. Gee thanks. I love being sarcastic, still I kept a smile on and tried not to levitate him and throw him. “I was just headed to Fluttershy’s cottage to meet my friend Jero up there,” I said as I tried to start trotting, only to be stopped I looked and noticed I was being levitated; I do not like where this is going, “What are you doing?” “I am going to take you to Fluttershy’s.” Shining smiled at me as he placed me on his back. I am happy now, I do not have to walk anymore, I was running out of breath. He is pretty nice I will say. “Thank you, Shining Armor.” I said and started going into deep thought. Thinking about what it would have been like if I choose not to come here and stayed at home would anything else happen? Would I move up the ladder? Would I still be in a cubicle? Or would I be in prison for killing my boss? Either way I wonder what would have happened if I stayed home. We had finally arrived at Fluttershy’s house, I thanked Shining Armor for carrying me here. The whole walk here we shared stories. I told him about some of the things that happened while I had been here and Shining Armor told me some very embarrassing things about Twilight. I walked into Fluttershy’s house, seeing Jero putting a basket on the table, I cleared my throat to get his attention “Hello Nova” Jero looked at a clock “Wow, you got here faster than I expected” I let out a laugh at this. He thinks I would be late, well I would have been if not for Shining Armor “Dang Jero that is hurtful. You think the worst of me don’t you?” I puffed out my lower lip trying to give a pair of puppy dog eyes, I love screwing with Jero. His eyes widened in panic. “N-no no I don’t think the worst of you” I am one evil little colt “Trust me, I just thought, you know, with the long path from the school it would take you a bit longer than normal.” At this point I was on the floor laughing. I love messing with people or ponies. “Dang Jero, I was just kidding” I said in between laughs. Once again I am a evil little colt, still making ponies all panicky is mean, even for me. Especially when I mess with Fluttershy or Jero. That is wrong, but funny on so many levels. Its kinda sad I know, messing with your friends is mean and cruel but when you get a chance you HAVE to take it. Jero was not amused by my antics but come on, if you were in my position being stuck in a crappy kindergarten class, I think you would have done the same thing. I need a way to entertain myself when I am not stuck in class or stuck with the crusaders but I must say they are all nice, annoying at times, but otherwise they are very well behaved and not annoying at all. I mean they are kids so of course they would be hyperactive at that age, but look at me I am not that hyper am I? No, I am not. I just enjoy screwing with my friends, but who doesn’t? Still though I gotta say Jero looks pissed. “What is wrong with you!?” Oh crap, Jero is mad. You don’t want to make him angry, you would not like him when he is angry. I mean it, when he is mad you better run for the hills and not look back. Wait, what is he raising his hoof for? “Why would you do something like that?” Oh good he is calm. I thought he was going to strike me, I was a little scared, at that point I did flinch. I think that is what made him soften up a little. Still though, I am wondering what the point of the basket is for. “Hey Jero what is the basket for?” I asked looking up at him, man that feels weird looking up at your friends. I don’t understand why I was turned into a five year old, but either way it is good most of the time. “Well I thought we could just catch up a little with a lunch” Jero just smiled at me, grabbing the basket and trotting to the door. I don’t know why but I thought of a joke. “That and Twilight’s brother is over. So she asked me to keep an eye on you.” How could I have guessed? Well I guess the best person to foalsit me is somepony who knows me so well. “Oh Jero I thought of something funny wanna hear?” I asked, Jero nodded “So now a pole is dating a tree” I burst out laughing at my own joke but come on that was funny. I love teasing him about that but still, I need to give him a break every once and a while but not too much. ________________________________________________________________________________ The whole walk to the place that Jero wanted me to follow him to I could not stop thinking about both Ruby Pinch and Dinky. They are really nice fillies and well, I don’t know, they both have good qualities along with being really nice. I met both Berry Punch and Ditzy Doo, they were really nice to me. I was zoned out into my own little world, not paying attention to anything. Not even the blush growing on my face from thinking about them. “You OK, Nova? You’ve been quiet the whole time we were walking. Also, why is your face all red?” Jero asked breaking the silence “Huh? Oh yeah, I’m fine. Just thinking that’s all” Crap! Why do I keep thinking... Who cares!? I mean come on, if not for thinking you would not be hearing things. All these ponies can’t hear me say like this: Jero I threw that dead mouse at your car that one time......see he can’t hear me “That was you!?” “What was me?” I think he can hear me, well this sucks something fierce. “Nova, I can’t hear your thoughts, you’re thinking out loud again.” “Well yes, I did throw that dead mouse at your car.” This sucks, he can hear me. Well everypony just a heads up, you piss him off he goes Flutterrage on you so just a heads up. Jero sighs “Well, why were you blushing anyway? Wait a sec.....that face you were making....” I started panicking at this point. If he guesses it, I am screwed “What face? I was not making a face, what is with your face?!” Yeah that worked. “That’s the same face I would make when I first started think about Flutter-....” Jero gasps and grins a little “Nova....do you have a crush on somepony?” “No I do not! Why would you think that?” OH COME ON! heh that made me think of Sweetie Belle. “I can tell when you are lying sometimes and that is SO a lie! You have a crush on a filly! Oh, that’s just cute and funny!” “Jero, buddy, this needs to be said” I put my hoof on his leg “You are one of the most feminine males I have ever met” I laughed with my own grin. “So says the guy that has to repeat kindergarten all over again” “Yeah well you....dammit” I have no insults, Celestia help me “Heh, looks like I win. Oh, wait until I tell Twilight about this.” My eyes just shot wide, if he told her my new reputation would be gone faster than... uhhhh I got nothing. “Jero if you do it, I have a few things Fluttershy would just love to see.” I grinned even wider. “Maybe I could show her some of the pictures of her on the internet.” “How would that work against me? I never looked at those pics nor did I make them.” “I have ways and you know it. Like the time I put a dead rat on my boss’s desk.” Oh wait that was before I came here “”Never mind, you would not know about that.” “Don’t even wanna know and it’s not gonna work. Also, don’t even try to tell her about the fic. During this last months I spent with her, I trusted her so much that I didn’t want anymore secrets between us so I told her about it.” “Give me a break please” Time for the killer, I gave him the cutest pair of puppy dog eyes I learned from Sweetie Belle, the master of puppy dog eyes, that could kill a man from the sheer cuteness. Jero closes his eyes as quickly as he could. “You’ve been learning from Sweetie, haven’t you?” “Jero, give me a break on this one. Come on, please bro” I really hope that he keeps it a secret “Wait, when you turn human does your cutie mark stay?” “Uh...random time to ask that, but yeah. Only it appears on my shoulder when I turn human. It can be easy covered with a short sleeved shirt though” “So it looks like a tattoo” I got even happier “So wait, why do you work with foals?” good the subject has been changed “Well, since I...wait a second, you’re not getting out of this that easily! I’ll make you a deal.” Oh goodie a deal, this should be hard for me to keep my end of it but if it is something like cooking, I can handle it “Sure, what is it?” “I won’t say a word for 2 things: One, you never call me pole, Fluttershy a tree, or Scootaloo a chicken again.” “Hey, no promises on not calling Fluttershy a tree. She wants to be a tree, so I call her a tree and the whole Scootaloo thing, I have yet to call her that.” I am insulted! How dare he think that of me. “I know you’ll do it sooner or later, so just in case.” “Fine, deal. Just no talking about it” I really don’t like where this is going “But I have one thing to say.” “Wait, let me just say my 2nd demand:....You have to tell me who you are crushing on.” “When I figure that one out myself, I will tell you.” Now for the one thing I must say “cluck, cluck.” Am I messed up? You know it “Had to do it.” Jero rolled his eyes “So, you have a crush on two fillies, but don’t know which to choose. Am I right?” “Out of both Dinky and Ruby.” WAIT HOW DID HE GET ME TO DO THAT!? “How did you, oh screw it.” Jero chuckled “Well, with me being in a relationship I’m more in touch with getting the hang of helping others with similar problems as well.” “Yeah with me dating more I will not say the word I want to, in fear of you being larger than me.” Seriously he is huge compared to me. “So are we there yet? or is it another hour walk?” but if you were me you would not be able to walk as much. I know one thing though, I hate trying to use magic. A lot of the times my head starts to hurt, I don’t know why but it does. “Don’t worry, we are here” Jero said as we both stopped. I sat on the ground, catching my breath. Jero had started to set everything up while I went into a deep thought. I was not paying attention to anything around me not even the fact that Jero was poking me to get my attention. “Yeah, sorry just went into deep thought again.” I said with a cheesy grin, trying to cover for my screw up of zoning out. I can’t help it, sometimes I go into a deep thought thinking about well, anything. I mean its like, think about when you are in a math class. You zone out, wanting to be anywhere but there. I jumped on the blanket as Jero put the basket containing the food down, and trust me, food sounds good right about now. ________________________________________________________________________________ After a good lunch, and catching up with Jero, we had arrived back at Fluttershy’s. Something about Twilight needing to talk to her brother alone. If she told me I would have understood easily but whatever. Jero and myself had caught up so I am happy. Turns out a lot has happened since we last saw each other, well I guess that is true Jero got to come to Equestria before me, along with turning into a pony a while after, so it works out; in a way. I mean, I have made more friends than imaginable, but something was making my mane itch and I mean itch like crazy. So I did the only thing I could think of. I started scratching it. Oh man, with my bad luck and if they have lice in Equestria then most likely I have lice. Lets hope that is not the case. “Nova, what are you doing?” Jero asked me. I stopped scratching my mane for a second and looked right up at him. I bit my tongue, trying not to go crazy “Scratching my mane, thats what.” but man that itches, and almost burns at the same time. I tried to stop scratching again but alas, I could not stop. “Are you sure you are alright?” Jero asked, I stopped scratching and nodded. I jumped on the couch smiling. “So, what is up with Twilight needing to speak with her brother?” I asked, I can never get over at how high pitched my voice sounds. It is funny as I will get out, but I don’t care for it when Jero gives me crap about it. I think it is very annoying, but nothing I can’t deal with. I had to deal with worse when I really was a kid. “I don’t know, but she said bring you home at around four or five.” Jero said with a smile. He is almost as cheery as Pinkie Pie. Who am I kidding? Nopony can be that cheery, Pinkie Pie is so happy, it scares me. “Okay, now second, do they have tv’s here?” I am wanting to know more about my new home so pardon me if I ask a few things so I know I won’t get bored out of my skull, that and living with Twilight does not help. She throws random questions about crap, she has me study and sometimes at the worst of times, like one time I was making a peanut butter sandwich, and she comes right behind me and ask me a random question. Its lucky that knife did not cut me. “No they don’t” Jero said. Well this sucks, they have all this advanced crap, like heart rate monitors, and all that other crap, yet no tv. Well this sucks. I can’t wait to get back to the library and, I dunno, do anything but study. Heck maybe talk to Shining Armor and ask if he has any tips and tricks on how to deal with Twilight. Still, the one thing I can’t help but wonder is: What else happened on the royal wedding episode? I heard there was another alicorn, but I think that is just something by the fans. Hoping to see a new princess. But I doubt that would happen ever. Here is a deal, if that is true and there is a third alicorn, I will curse right in front of everypony. So if, and when, I see a new ‘princess’. I will do it, I don’t care what happens after I do it. I will, so try me. But the one thing I hate about being this young again is I get distracted REALLY easily. That is not too fun, it sucks, even more so when I zone out in class and Cheerilee calls me out to answer the question. I will say this, the whole bits system, I have yet to understand. I am sure it will come to me sooner or later maybe I can try and get some extra bits from Twilight when I ask her to explain it to me. “Well that sucks, oh well I can find a way to entertain myself, I always do.” I laughed, thinking about some of my more fond memories. Some of them are not the best, but some of them are pretty good. “Also what time is it?” I looked at a clock, seeing it was four thirty. Man ten minutes ago I would have had a four twenty joke. “It is four thirty” I saw Jero’s eyes wide. They looked like they were ready to pop out of his head. “Oh no, we have to go and now!” Jero than grabbed me, running out the door. I know we are headed back to Twilight’s house on run. But I don’t understand why Jero just doesn't fly, I will never know but when he realizes he is late for something, he takes off running. I could see the library in plain sight, it was a good ten second run from here. “Jero, slow down or I am going to vomit.” I think it worked because he stopped running. “Thank you.” I jumped off his back, stretching my limbs, I heard a couple of pops. I then started trotting to the library with Jero close behind me, it is creepy but who cares. I got to the library, seeing my worst enemy, the door. I could not reach that knob if you payed me. I started channeling my magic as I saw a pale purple aura going around the door knob, twisting it. After a little while, I had opened the door. I beamed as I trotted inside, when I got in there I saw a light pink alicorn laughing with Twilight and Shining Armor “What.The. Hell.” ________________________________________________________________________________ I walked down stairs, after learning what soap taste like, and I will say this: It does not taste very good. I guess that nopony takes well to a five year old swearing. I still had some bubbles on my cheek from the soap, I did not notice it until I overheard a light pink alicorn giggling looking at me. I do not find it funny, I find it annoying “Here, let me fix that” I never caught her name but she took a tissue and wiped my face off, even though I could do it on my own. It was not funny that I had my mouth washed out for saying a certain sentence, that I refuse to say again for fear of having my mouth washed out a second time. “Thanks” I grumbled, a little annoyed at the fact I had my mouth washed out for one simple word. I am just going to have to watch what I do and say in fear of what else they might do to me. Well I guess now is as good as time as any to introduce myself, “Hello my name is Nova, nice to meet you” I held my hoof out. The alicorn took my hoof, giggling as she shook it “My what a gentlecolt we have here” great, apparently nopony told her about the deal Celestia made with me “My name is Cadance, it is a pleasure to meet you Nova.” “The feeling is mutual.” I said in a calm tone as Cadance released my hoof. Yet again, I started drifting off, I could not get Dinky or Ruby off my mind. They seem to stay there, taunting me. I can not date them though, it is just strange, I mean I am technically a grown man but I am in a childs body here so I guess I am a child. I for some reason have the attention span of one and a lot of other things. Cadance let out a giggle as she looked over to Shining Armor “I think somepony in this room is in love” is it really that obvious. “How do you know that?” I asked looking at Cadance “Because I am the princess of love” Cadance said and my jaw dropped. I have a question I want to ask her but I can’t think of it for the life of me, sometimes I hate having the mind of a child. I am sure it will come to me “And I also rule the Crystal Kingdom” Wait the what kingdom? This is a joke “Are you kidding? There is another kingdom?” I am shocked, I thought that the whole third alicorn thing was a fan rumor, along with the whole new kingdom thing but I guess it is not a rumor. Well I have not passed out yet so it is good “So, Princess Cadance, did Princess Celestia explain the deal she made with me to you?” Cadance cocked an eyebrow at me “No, I don’t think Aunt Celestia told me about a deal” I groaned at this point, I figured that she would let her niece know. “I did see Twilight leaving with this little tyke.” Shining Armor said as he ruffled my mane, I swear these ponies are killing me on the inside by doing stuff like that. I am not some little kid, well on the outside I am, but I am really an adult. I heard Jero stifle a laugh, I glared at him “I am not a foal Cadance. I am an adult.” I saw both Shining Armor and Cadance laugh at me, for the love of Celestia! “You're a big pony aren't you?” Seriously? Now a princess is speaking to me as if I truly was a child. I am going to die on the inside everyday until they stop doing that. “Well I have to go and meet Fluttershy now” Jero said, as he walked out the door I suddenly got an idea. “So Cadance and Shining Armor, you don’t believe me when I say I am an adult?” I asked they nodded. “Nova what are you getting at?” Twilight asked, I grinned. “Well so you will believe me let me tell you a story” I grinned. ________________________________________________________________________________ After a few hours of talking, getting to know Cadance and Shining Armor, they had taken their leave so Twilight opened a book, Spike went to spend the night with Rarity and I went to take a bath, the whole time I could not believe that Cadance had invited both Twilight and myself to stay with her and Shining Armor at the Crystal Empire. I had finished my bath, after drying off and throwing my towel in the hamper, I went into the living room, which in was really just the main room of the library but it acts as a living room. I saw Twilight reading a book but I could not make it out, so I went in front of to see what book she was reading. It took me a second but I saw the name of the book that Twilight was reading it was ‘Parenting Foals For Dummies’ I decided to shake it off and grab a book of my own, I grabbed Daring Doo Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull I guess she is the female Equestria version of Indiana Jones. I opened the book and started reading, getting caught up in my own little world “Hmm this is interesting” I flipped the page and kept reading. When I get caught up in a book nothing can break my concentration, I kept my eyes on the book until I let out a small yawn. I shook my head to stay awake, I must know what happens at the end of this book. I kept reading until I let out another yawn “I must know what happens.” I said aloud only to find myself being lifted into the air. When I looked back I saw Twilight smiling at me “What are you doing?” “You are sleepy and this book I am reading says when a foal is sleepy he, or she, should be put to bed immediately.” Twilight explained. As she tucked me in I let out another yawn. “I am not tired” I protested as Twilight gave me a kiss on the head “The heck?” “Well either way you need to be in bed, it is a school night after all” Twilight smiled before looking at her book again, I don’t like where this is going. “Good night Nova, mommy loves you.” Now I am confused as to what is going on “Did that really just happen and did Twilight really just say that?” I think to myself before drifting off to sleep. But before anything I did not mean to say this but it slipped out “I love you too mommy.” I am never going to hear the end of that. ________________________________________________________________________________ I woke up the next morning with a massive yawn. I did not feel like opening my eyes in fear of the dreaded sunlight on my eyes. I felt like I was hugging something and when I opened my eyes I saw Twilight’s old smarty pants doll. I don’t know how it even got in here unless it comes alive at night and for some reason it came in here...that is just crazy talk, even for me. Why am I still hugging this thing? I tossed the offending stuffed animal thing, I am not sure what it would be called but still, now it is on the floor. I started trotting down stairs, I could hear Twilight talking to somepony, but I could not tell. I stood at the same spot I did last time. I could make out Rarity’s voice, why is it shocking that her voice is so easy to make out? She is a drama queen, still, what is Twilight telling her? I went down one more step so I could hear what they were saying. Twilight let out a silent yet audible squeal of joy “And after I told him I love you, after he fell asleep he said ‘I love you too mommy’!” I heard Rarity let out a squeal “But an hour or two later I went to check on him and he was just shifting around, like he was not comfortable, so I dug up my old Smarty Pants doll and gave it to him, after that he seemed to calm down but I went to check on him a while later and he was hugging it. I just had to take a picture and I did.” Twilight did what now. I heard Rarity take in a small inhale “Oh darling, I think it is quite marvelous that he thinks of you as his mother already” seriously I do not remember saying that, and she took a picture of me, that is just mean. How would she like it if I did the same to her? I decided now would be a good time to go and get breakfast. I walked into the kitchen, rubbing my eyes. I was not paying half a mind, but I was picked up in the air again, when I looked I saw Twilight, she pulled me into a hug, grinning ear to ear. Twilight put me down still smiling “Good morning Nova, I hope you slept well.” I simply nodded but Twilight’s grin did not fade and I could tell it would not anytime soon. “Also there is no school today.” I smiled back “That’s good” I let out one more yawn, I am still in the process of waking up “So am I free to do what I want today?” Twilight nodded “Good. Is it alright if I go out and get to see Ponyville on my own?” I want to get to see the whole town on my own with no adults. Twilight let out a small giggle “Yes you may but I want you to go and make your bed.” Twilight poked my nose “And I will make you some breakfast” I huffed and went back upstairs to make my bed. I had finished fixing my bed up, like Twilight had asked me, when I looked at the floor. Seeing the smarty pants doll I was hugging when I woke up. “Hmm should I leave it or put it up on my bed” I shrugged, I mean Twilight did give it to me when I was sleeping so I guess it won’t hurt to put it on my bed. Walking back downstairs I could hear Twilight saying something else so I decided to walk into the kitchen to get my food. When I did get in the kitchen, I saw Twilight and only Twilight. I am guessing Rarity had to leave for something; I don’t know what but and I don’t care. But still Twilight is a bit giddy today “Twilight you are kinda creeping me out.” I am not joking she is just smiling at me like that. Twilight patted me on the head “Sorry Nova, just that picture I got of you snuggling up to my old Smarty Pants doll was cute.” I hope she only made one copy of that “I also made waffles for breakfast.” At the sound of food I jumped into my chair while Twilight levitated my plate in front of me. I did not even bother with a fork I just dug in.

But today, I had to go back to school. I trotted to the school building, it is a good size, when I got inside I was greeted by Dinky and Ruby along with Rumble, my fellow crusaders. I took my seat, looking at the board I saw “Today’s lesson is on the color green.” written in big letters. I really hate being back in kinder garden some days Dinky was the first to speak up “Hey Nova do you want to come crusading with us today?” “Yeah, we came up with some awesome stuff!” Rumble said “I thought we could try and help my mom out in her shop” Ruby said with a smile, I nodded, they are all good ideas but I could not think of anything. I thought for a second. I did not want to be rude, yet I want to hang out with them “I don’t know. I kinda wanted to do something after school today on my own.” I heard them all groan in disappointment “Sorry but I just wanted to be alone after school today when we are all busy, Twilight is having somepony foalsit me once again, sorry.” They all understood. We kept chatting until Cheerilee entered the room “Good morning my little ponies” I did not think she would say that. I let out a small yawn; I am still a little tired. I did not sleep well, thing is I lost the smarty pants doll and I don’t know why it affected my sleep but it did. I am so sleepy “Today's lesson we will be starting out with learning about the color green and after that we will be doing math.” I heard all of the foals in the classroom groan at the sound of math, I was one of them. I am still sleepy though, I wish I would have taken the class at twelve to four; it is all the same thing just different times. I could feel my eyes closing, I kept trying to fight it but it was hard. Eventually I gave in and fell asleep. ____________________________________________________ I was still sleeping in Cheerilee's class, I said it already I was tired, my left ear twitched but what woke me up was not Twilight shaking me gently. Instead it was a book slamming on my desk, I shot awake "ORANGE!" was the first thing to come out of my mouth. Everypony in class started laughing at me and I felt a blush growing on my face as a result. Cheerilee gave me an unamused look. I just looked down. Cheerilee finally spoke "Nova is my class so boring that it made you fall asleep?" I just shook my head, I knew I was in trouble "Well I want you to wait after class, am I understood young colt." I nodded as I waited for everypony to leave the classroom and they did, fast. The only ones I saw still waiting outside were Lime Wire and his little friends. I saw Cheerilee sigh "Nova listen, I don't want to be your enemy. I want to be your friend." I do not like were this is going "So Nova I want you to get Twilight to sign this." Cheerilee than placed a piece of paper in my saddle bags before placing my saddle bags on me. I sighed as I made my way out the door. While walking to Twilight's, I saw Lime Wire following me. Twilight had packed me a lunch so I decided to go to the park and eat it. Upon arrival I found a nice shaded tree and I sat under it, opening my saddle bags I saw a sandwich, a juice box and some other things. But before I could grab anything I saw the one known as Lime Wire approaching me. "Hey nerd!" Lime Wire shouted, I just groaned hoping he would leave me alone. "Hey I am talking to you!" I just looked at him "What do you want?" I asked, not looking forward to what this colt wanted. I am betting in his twisted mind he thinks I did something to him. Lime Wire grinned "Because of you, my mom took away my favorite toy." REALLY!? He is blaming me for this, sweet Celestia help me please. I just rolled my eyes "I did not do anything. You did that to yourself." I really want to smack him "Can you leave me alone so I can eat now? And that means in peace." "Oh this lunch" Lime Wire said as he stomped the lunch Twilight had packed me "No you cannot" Great now I have to deal with him all day. I stood up "Listen if you have a problem with me then let’s talk about it." I felt a hoof hit my side so I guess talking it out won't work. I turned and saw another Pegasus, this one was yellow. I walked over to them and hit the other Pegasus before hitting Lime in the muzzle. I guess that was some kind of bait, because before I could turn. I was being held back. "Hey let me go!" I shouted, before anything else happened Lime Wire bucked me in the face, and it hurt. When the pony that was holding me had let go, I fell to the ground, and laid there, just waiting for them to leave. After about ten minutes they had left. I grabbed my saddle bags and took off running back towards Twilight's home. When I arrived I dropped my saddle bags on the floor and started walking to the stairs, only to be lifted into the air. Twilight then sat me on her stomach. Twilight nuzzled my cheek "Hey Nova, I heard what happened." Twilight took a tissue and wiped my nose, I don't know why, but she did. I just buried my face into her chest. "Listen Nova, me and the girls are going to Canterlot today and we will be gone all week" I nodded, understanding, before falling asleep right there.I am turning into such a wuss Author's Note So yeah this was a chapter I wrote a few minuets after chapter 3 or 4 I was going to publish it but I decided not to BUT I thought about putting it as some cut content but I though naw show what happens while Nova is in school so here it is after this chapter the next chapter will be MUCH MUCH bigger so I hope you like it Sparknanator~
Chapter 10:The StormView OnlineFriends,Family,PoniesChapter 10:The StormFriends,Family,Ponies By Sparknanator _______________________________________________________________________________________ I woke up in the morning but for once it was not in my bed instead I was in the guest bedroom at Fluttershy’s cottage I streached my arms yawning I looked around I know it seems strange but I had to hug my Smarty Pants doll it has become a morning ritual of mine I know it seems like something a little kid would do but hey I am five now so who cares I sure don’t I heard a small knock on the door I forgot to mention that Fluttershy and the rest of them along with Sweetie Belle are in Canterlot right now so yeah it is just me and Jero right now I guess Twilight decided since we know each other already he is my new foalsitter so who cares I would never say it out loud though but I would gladly call Twilight mom if it was not for getting teased I also got punished yesterday reason being is yesterday was my parent teacher conference and well where Twilight was not around Jero went in her place so when he found out I had gotten into a book fight that turned into me beating up Lime Wire he punished me by making me clean out the chicken coop I yawned again “Come in” I shouted as Jero came in thank Celestia it is a weekend but I really miss Twilight or as I like to call her when I pretend to be alseep mommy I hope nopony figures out that I am faking like I am asleep I really don’t want anypony to know Jero came into the guest room as I put down my Smarty Pants doll smiling “Good morning Jero” Jero ruffled my mane “Morning Nova” I hate it when he does that it kills my pride I sniffed seeing as my nose gets clogged up when I sleep but this time it was not instead I smelled something good “What is that smell?” I asked “Well I thought you would like some waffles for breakfast” Jero said as I took off for the door not to go to the kitchen to eat but to take care of some personal matters “Don’t forget to wash up!” I came out of the bathroom and yes I washed my hooves so don’t ask when I was going down the stairs I fell being the smart pony I am I shook it off even though it hurt I went into the kitchen jumping in a chair I saw Angel sitting in one I don’t want to know so I won’t ask still though those butter covered waffles looked and smelled good so I just dug right in not caring how hot the butter was I was hungry and that is all I cared about I had finished my food in a pretty good time looking at the calender I saw it was Monday HOW LONG DID I SLEEP!? “Oh goodie it is Monday and I have to go to school” I hate school if you can not tell Jero let out a small laugh “Yup now come on out the door with you” crap he is going to make me go…oh well I guess that is the price of getting a second childhood I put my saddle bags on heading for the door “I hate this some days and I swear if Lime Wire starts with me today I will hurt him” I walked out the front door my mind drifitng the whole time “I wonder what todays lesson will be on I hope not another color” I arrived at the school seeing Cheerilee waiting at the door she had a smirk looking at me “Good morning Nova I think you will do well in todays lesson” Cheerilee said looking right at me I nodded and walked to me seat Cheerilee walked into the class room with a smile on her face either she is in a good mood or she got some last night “Good morning” No smug remarks good I saw her write on the bord ‘Todays lesson is on the color orange’ son of a “I think Nova will know all about this color” I knew it I freaking knew it The whole class started laughing at me I felt my face go flush “Yeah seeing as he shouted it last week” Who ever said that I am going to hurt them well if it was a colt than yeah I am going to hurt him you know what not worth the time “Why don’t you say that to my face to I can hit you” I think I said that too loud because Cheerilee is glaring at me Today what a freaking day is all I can say Cheerilee made me stay behind and write stuff on the board it sucked either way I need to get back to Fluttershy’s house so I can do this homework and have it done in a decent time and hopefully enjoy the rest of the day wow making this walk does not take too much time when you have to make it everyday I am glad I know there is a thunderstorm today I walked in the front door to see nopony around “Yo Jero I am home” I shouted hearing him shout something back Jero came into the living room “Get to doing your homework” Oh really I thought I would just sit down and turn on the TV oh wait I forgot they do not have TV’s here I sat down at the table pulling the crap Cheerilee calls homework out and started working on it I can not believe how easy this crap is well seeing as it is for a kindergarden class I am not shocked still I keep feeling like I am being watched at night and it scares me I dunno why though I still finished that homework so that is a good start “Hey Jero I finished the crap called homework” I shouted getting up and walking into the kitchen “What’s for dinner?” Pardon me for being hungry but in other news I still hate the night time I don’t know why but that Smarty Pants doll makes me feel safe don’t you judge me or else I will find you ____________________________________________________________________________________ The night time had arrived after a nice dinner getting myself cleaned up aia came downstairs hearing a loud crack of thunder I froze up “It can’t hurt me but it can scare the crap out of me” I REALLY hate thunder almost as much as I hate needles that is the only bad part about this whole second childhood thing a lot of my old childhood fears have come back like thunder,needles,thunder,the dark,thunder,being alone,thunder,being in big crowds oh and did I mention thunder? I don’t know if I did still it is almost nine at night wow time passes when you have fun I really wish Twilight was back because I don’t know if she has said anything but on stormy nights I sneak into her bedroom and snuggle up to her at night and I don’t care what other ponies think of me for it still though there was one more crack of thunder before the power shot out I screamed in fear I really really hate the dark it scares me to the point of tears but before anything else I saw a flash of lightning and a face looking at me through the window before I saw anything else or did anything else Author's Note Well this is where the story is picking up I hope you like it so far Sparknanator~

______________________________________________________________________________ I kept crying from the fear of what ever it was I saw that is the one thing I hate about being five again when something scares me to the point of crying I really don’t like it because when I do start crying nopony can understand what I am saying “Calm down Nova” Jero kept trying to calm me down but it was no use I kept trying to talk but it was impossible to understand what I was saying the only thing that could be understood was ‘Monster staring at me’ I am truly turning into a child and I really need to speak to the princess about why I am acting like a child but still that thing scared me so bad I was Twilight now so that way I could snuggle up to her at bedtime The power had came back on a couple of hours ago but I was still crying and I don’t know why all I know is I was scared and could not stop crying I just don’t know what that thing was it looked like a messed up hybrid of a bug and alicorn I had managed to calm down finally “Wh-what was th-that t-thing?” it had been a couple of hours and after Jero’s failed attempts to calm me down and cleaning up something and I wont say what Jero smiled as he patted me on the back “Its alright Nova now just tell me what it was you saw” I sniffled and started to explain what that thing was that I had seen when I finished Jero’s eyes widened “Nova that was a changling!” I looked at Jero confused “A what?” what the heck is a changling I mean it this thing I saw was freaky Jero ran upstairs leaving me alone I started shaking again until he came back with a book and for some reason my Smarty Pants doll I grabbed that thing and hugged I don’t know why I know I said this already but that thing makes me feel safe and even though Twilight is not here when I hug this I feel like Twilight is here I think that is the one reason she gave it to me I was not even paying attention but Jero was opening the book he had brought Jero pointed to something in the book “This is a normal changling, Is this what you saw?” I just shook my head he kept pointing to page after page with different pictures of changlings but I kept shaking my head on each one of them “Well what did it look like?” I sniffled and wiped some of the tears from my eyes “W-well it it had a red coat almost like a crimson color a-and holes in its legs a-a-and a b-black mane and tail” I wanted to start crying again but I will not I sniffled again “I-it has been doing stuff like that ever night for the past few days a-and every night f-for the past few days” I felt tears forming in my eyes again “I-t just looked at me through my bedroom window” I really hate how stuff like that scares me so easily “S-so what I do is sneak into Twilight’s room and climb into her bed” I know it is what a child would do but I am a child now “OK calm down you are safe” I nodded understanding what Jero was saying I know they would never let anything hurt me “Now when Twilight gets back tomorrow I will tell her what is going on” I nodded “Jero can I ask you something?” I asked Jero smiled and nodded “Can I sleep with you tonight?” I saw Jero trying not to laugh “Sure thing” I smiled as he was not in the guest bedroom and looking at the time I saw it was two in the afternoon I just shook it off even though today is tusday I jumped off the bed streaching and yawning I decided to go downstairs and see if I was here alone seeing as it is day time I don’t think that changling will bother me….at least I hope not when I got downstairs I saw Twilight was back and talking to Fluttershy my eyes snapped open as I went into a full gallop and jumped on Twilight’s lap I hugged her as tight as I could I know it makes me seems like a mommas boy but screw off after what I went through I really missed her Twilight returned the hug “I missed you too Nova” I know I said I would never say this out loud but who cares “I missed you too mommy” I heard Fluttershy ‘aww’ at that sight but who cares because it is true in the four months I have been in Equestria she has grown on me like a mother I swear if I catch crap about it I am going to be kinda pissed I hope nopony told her about me hitting Lime Wire in the head with a book that little I don’t know what to call him had it coming though Twilight nuzzled me “I missed you and I heard about the changling that is stalking you” Twilight smiled “I wont let anything harm you I promise” I hugged Twilight even tighter after that I know she means it and I know that none of my friends would let any harm come to me heck if anything they are a big family to me we always have each others back no matter what “Oh well I am so sorry for the power going out” Fluttershy said “Its not your fault Fluttershy it could not be helped it was just a thunderstorm” That scared me “Other wise everything else was fine” besides my fear of thunder that scares the living crap out of me and last night when I startedd crying for a couple of hours like the wuss I am turning into because of who knows why but still I can tell that everypony here will help me out through anything they can I looked to my side and noticed a bag I don’t know who it belonges too but I really could not care less….what is Twilight doing with that hair brush I started squirming “Hold still Nova” Twilight said as she held me down and started brushing my mane oh good that is all she is doing I thought she was going to hit me with it after Twilight had finished brushing my mane I heard the one thing that could not have worse timing one of the biggist cracks of thinder ever I immediately gipped onto Twilight for safty “Oh my I forgot that a storm was scudualed for today” Fluttershy said as I kept my grip on Twilight I refuse to start crying well again at least I saw Jero come in the door from weather duty I am guessing I still did not let go of Twilight she is like a safty blanket “Hey everypony” Jero said I just waved to him not moving an inch or loosening up “Hi Jero” Both Twilight and Fluttershy said at the same time “Umm Jero I am sorry to ask this of you but me and the girls are going out tonight think you can keep an eye on” Twilight smirked “The little foal who wont let go of his mommy” Oh Twilight you asked for it I felt a blush growing on my cheeks from that statement but I kept my face buried in Twilight’s chest “I can let go at any time I want to!” Jero sighed “Sure I can watch Nova again” Good other wise I would be alone again and freak out and most likely I would start crying again from the fear I am like Fluttershy when she is near a dragon well a full grown dragon when I hear a crack of thunder I freeze up “Thank you Jero” Fluttershy said in her normal sweet and very low tone of voice I gotta say it is kinda cute if you think about it I finally decided to let Twilight out of my iron grip Twilight gave me a kiss on the cheek before putting me on the couch inbetween herself and Fluttershy man these ponies really do love me _____________________________________________________________________________ The sun had went down yet the storm had not calmed down I was still scared “Hey Nova do you want some cocoa?” Jero asked I shrugged “I guess I would like some coffee but I already know the answer to that is a big no” Jero laughed as he brought me a mug of hot cocoa I held it with my hooves seeing as I know if I use my magic I will some how drop it and burn myself “So where is Scootaloo at?” “I don’t know the whole time I have been here I know nothing of her home life nor do I know her parents” Jero said “Oh she does not have any parents” I said calmly I saw Jero’s eyes widen “WHAT!?” Jero’s asked “Where is she right now!?” I srugged again “I am guessing she is staying with Applebloom” I don’t know where she stays it is not my job to keep up with her I am not her father after all I am only a little colt so yeah it is not my fault “What do you mean you guess?” Jero asked one again I shrugged Chapter 12:The Orange FillyView OnlineFriends,Family,PoniesChapter 12:The Orange FillyFriends,Family,Ponies By Sparknanator _________________________________________________________________________________________ Jero had left about thirty minuets ago both myself and Angel where playing poker that dang bunny is good I will say I never thought I would see the day when I got beat in poker by a freaking bunny I have now seen everything yet the one pony I have yet to see is Trixie and I really want to see her that would be awesome I mean sure she has a big ego but who cares we can all boast some times or in Rainbow Dash’s case a lot well I don’t do it that is for sure the poker game was interupted by Jero slamming through the front door with a shivering pegasus filly “Quick Nova go and get a blanket” Jero said as he placed Scootaloo in front of the fire place as I came downstairs with a blanket that had little pictures of chickens on it I know Jero might get all mad about it but instead he just took the blanket and covered Scootaloo with it "How could I have not guessed this" I don't know what to say I mean it I am at a loss for words "Jero what are you going to do?" I asked he did not look at me Jero just looked down "I-I just don't know Nova I just don't know" _________________________________________________________________________________________ I woke up the next day in the guest bedroom I could hear Scootaloo talking I trotted downstairs and made myself known "Good morning" I saw Scootaloo with tearful eyes looking back at me crap what wrong did I do "Good morning" I saw a small smirk growing on Scootaloo's face "How did you sleep squirt?" "Did she just call me squirt really!?" I grinned "pretty good and how did you sleep chicken?" that one might have went too far but who cares I sure don't "I slept better than I have in my whole life" Scootaloo said as I went over to the table sitting down on one of the pillows smiling a little I looked into Scootaloo's eyes "So what did you and Jero talk about?" I asked "W-well we just spoke about why I did not come to anypony about not having anywhere to live" Scootaloo took a deep breath "A-and I told him I was too scared to tell anypony because I was scared that they would send me to an orphanage in Canterlot or some place far away from Ponyville" I feel bad for Scootaloo she is scared that they will send her off but they would not do that I am sure of it I put my hoof on Scootaloo's shoulder "Don't worry Scootaloo there is no way in Equestria anypony would EVER send you off" _________________________________________________________________________________________ I decided that since it was late in the afternoon I would go out and help Jero with his chores around the cottage I got flower duty so I had to water all of the flowers at Fluttershy's house so I knew that would take me forever but anything to help out a friend the only thing I did not care for is I have to hold the watering pot in my mouth I still though both Scootaloo and Jero went to the mayor’s office to do something about the Scootaloo situation I hope she says yes so that way everything can get back to normal I know this seems like I am acting immature but I don’t really care I hate being left alone for hours at a time but at least I had finished the chores I went and put up everything from the chores the only thing I do not like is Twilight got Rarity to make me two pairs of those accursed pajamas one of them has a book pattern on them and the other have little numbers on them Twilight had to wash the ones with the book pattern on them so now until Twilight gets back witch will be after tonight and I already know I will be asleep but who cares I hate how much Twilight has to go out it seems like she never has time for me any more well I mean she is busy a lot with sending letters to the princess and all of that _________________________________________________________________________________________ I had fallen asleep on the couch not even caring I woke up just barely as the door shut I could hear a voice or two they belonged to Jero and Scootaloo I did not want to open my eyes instead I wanted to stay asleep I would have gotten up but I was so sleepy and so lazy I heard Jero let out a laugh “Well it looks like Nova fell asleep” Jero said as he picked me up I kept my eyes shut as Jero carried me “Looks like the little guy tuckered himself out while we where gone” I felt some sort of soft cloth being put on me the next noise I heard was a zipper I cracked my eyes open “No I am not sleepy” I protested trying to stay awake only to hear Scootaloo giggle “Aww did the little colt tire himself out?” Scootaloo asked as she giggled again when I opened my eyes I saw I was wearing a pair of hoofsie pajamas the ones with little numbers on them I blushed when I saw them “Do I have to wear these?” I asked Jero just nodded “Sorry but these are the only ones Twilight packed for you” Jero said as he put me on the bed “And I spoke to the mayor she said that the paper work I filled out should be processed with in the next week and Scootaloo will be legally my daughter” I kept fighting to keep my eyes open “That is good but I am not sleepy” after a while of struggling I ended up falling asleep both Jero and Scootaloo walked out of the room laughing it up at me “Well Scootaloo I guess you can sleep with me tonight if you want to that is” Jero said as he let out a small yawn of his own “That sounds good” Scootaloo said letting out a yawn of her on Author's Note Well everypony this is where the story is really taking off but as you remember the changling from a few chapters ago well lets say this he will be back

I mean sure, it is with a bunch of foals but who cares? Cheerilee put on some music today so that was good, but still I can’t help shake this feeling that I am being watched. I looked behind me “Hello, anypony there?” huh, nothing. I can’t shake it though. It feels like that ‘changeling’ or whatever it was called is following me. I shuddered at the thought of that thing as I kept walking. I just wanted to go back to the library and take a little nap, I have not slept well in the past few days and yes it is because I cannot find my Smarty Pants doll. That and I am too scared to sleep at night because I still feel like something is watching me, be it a changeling or something else, so I just climb into Twilight’s bed and snuggle up to her, she can take Smarty pants’ place. For now... I sighed “Well she told me to spend some time getting to know other ponies.” I stood still for a second “I guess I could do that, or lie about it.” I smirked and just kept trotting. I guess I could go to that one tree and finish the daring doo book that I have been trying to finish for who knows how long now. I know it has been a few days since I started it. I kept walking, only to be stopped by Sweetie Drops “Hey Nova, come here.” I let out a small sigh and went over to her “Here you go kiddo.” Sweetie Drops said before she put a brown paper bag into my saddle bags. I smiled a little “Thanks Sweetie Drops.” I wonder what she put in that bag. I guess I will find out later. I know Twilight packed me a nice little juice box. “You are welcome Nova” Sweetie Drops said, patting me on the head “Just don’t tell Twilight alright” Sweetie Drops added with a wink. I let out a small laugh “Ok Sweetie Drops.” Man her name sounds strange “I won’t tell Twilight.” I continued trotting to the tree. Today so far has been pretty good I will say, first off we got to listen to music in school and now Sweetie Drops gave me a free candy! This is so AWESOME! I wonder what will happen next. Nothing, because I am at my location, the shady tree I sat at last time I read. I sat down and opened my saddle bags, pulling out my book and opening it to the page I was last on. _________________________________________________________________________________________ I let out a small yawn, I had been out here reading this one book all day and I gotta say, I am a little tired. Though that candy Sweetie Drops gave me was pretty good. I looked up at the sky “Huh, it’s getting pretty dark out.” I said aloud while I packed my saddle bags and began trotting back to the library. Twilight had decided to set a curfew for me earlier this week “I hope Twilight is not mad that I am a little late.” The whole walk to the library I could not stop feeling like I was being watched, I turned several times but there was nothing, I was alone “Ugg I think I am even more tired than I thought.” I kept just walking, hoping to get home soon, until I heard something and turned to look. Just as the last time I checked, nothing was there. “Listen, if somepony is pulling a prank, you need to stop! It’s not funny!” I started trotting a little faster. “Come on. Whoever this is you are scaring me.” I said now running as fast as I could, I kept hearing what sounded like a bee “Seriously Rainbow Dash, if this is you just stop. You are taking it too far now.” I was in a full blown gallop, now racing towards the library. The buzzing kept getting louder and closer “HELP ME SOMEPONY!” I shouted, running faster now crying. I kept running until I saw a figure land in front of me “Aw, is the little foal lost?” when I looked up at it I saw it was that changeling thing. I tried running in the other direction only to be caught in its magical grip “Don’t worry; I will take you ‘home’.” ________________________________________________________________________________ Twilight had been all over Ponyville searching for Nova, yet she could not find him. She had checked at Sugar Cube Corner, Sweet Apple Acres, Twilight had even asked most of her friends but none of them had seen him all day. Twilight even asked Ditzy Doo and Berry Punch, neither of them had seen the little colt “I hope Nova is alright.” Twilight said as she worriedly made her way to Fluttershy’s cottage. “Let’s think, I have checked with Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Rarity, along with Cheerilee.” Twilight let out a frustrated groan “So now let’s think. The last pony to see him was Cheerilee and she has not seen him since after school.” Twilight started trotting a little faster “If he fell asleep at Fluttershy’s house I know he is in good hooves.” Twilight just sighed “Maybe I should let my parents meet Nova......or maybe not yet.” Twilight arrived at Fluttershy’s cottage, nearly in full gallop. Knocking on the door she could hear some commotion “For the love of Celestia what did Nova do?” Twilight asked to nopony in particular. She knocked on the door again. After waiting another ten minutes or so, the door swung open revealing a clearly annoyed Jero and Fluttershy. The two looked at Twilight for a few seconds. “Hey Twilight, what is it?” Jero asked Fluttershy noticed the worry on her friends face “Oh, umm Twilight come in” she then hid behind her mane “If you want to that is.” Twilight smiled and stepped inside, seeing the living room was a wreck. Twilight looked again seeing Angel in what Fluttershy called his ‘quiet area.’ The lavender mare took a seat on the couch before looking at her friends. “Twilight, is something wrong?” Jero asked “Umm Twilight you look a little upset” Fluttershy said stating the obvious Twilight took a deep breath “Have you seen Nova?” Author's Note So everypony I have been planning this out for a while now it will be about 2 or 3 chapters so I hope you all enjoy so far

I have not had one all day and I am starting to smell like a...... AppleJack is better at doing that. But let me put it this way; I don't smell like a patch of roses, there is one, but still I want to know why they have taken me. Here let’s see. There is a brown stallion, a gold colored mare, and last but not least the freaking 'changeling' those bug eyes are creepy I shuddered from the memory still. At least they gave me a decent sized room with a bed and a lamp but that is all, the room has a bathroom so I am golden, well really it is just a toilet but I get to bathe though I am only given two minutes a day so I have to try and make it fast, only getting to wash my mane. I jumped onto my bed and started a staring match with the wall. Sadly, I was losing. I just stared for what felt like years "This is so boring" I whined and yes I will admit it, I whined. So what? "I wish I was back home, with the other crusaders." I flopped on my belly, I don't understand why this had to happen to me, out of anypony else; not that I would want this to happen to anypony. Trust me I would not. But the only thing I hate is I miss my Smarty Pants doll I know that it may seem foalish but I do. Sleeping isn’t as easy without it or Twilight, in case I couldn’t find him. I continued my little pity party until I heard a knock on the door; I am betting it is the stallion, what was his name? Oh yeah, it was Dark Blade, or the 'changling' Mirror Recall I just hope it is Storm Bringer the mare she is the nicest out of them all heck she somehow snuck me a little bit of ice cream and let me tell you it was good but what I find very odd is they are all blank flanks. Grown ponies without their cutie marks, I didn’t think it was possible. I was able to see the mane of the one entering sticking through the door, I don't know why but they are all black. Who knows "Hey kid, you awake?" Dark Blade asked, I wanted to make a snide remark or pretend to be asleep but I know that might end badly. Like having my bed taken away, leaving me to sleep on the floor, and before you say anything I’m not acting like Rarity; it isn’t that it’s dirty, it’s just really uncomfortable. I sighed "Yeah, I am awake. What do you need?" He trotted in "Well I know you are wondering why we took you." _________________________________________________________________________________ I sat there after he had left, jaw on the floor, not believing any of it. Because of Twilight and her brother they want to hurt Twilight by taking ME, her child. This is wrong, I felt my horn spark a little "As soon as I can figure out a spell it is so on" I jumped off my bed and started pacing around the room "This sucks. The least they can do is send her a letter or something to let her know I am alright." I kept my pacing up "I miss everypony." I looked out the window, which was out of my reach "But I out of all the crusaders I miss Dinky the most." I felt a faint blush growing on my face thinking about her but now is NOT the time for my crush now is the time to escape or try at least. _________________________________________________________________________________ It has been a few hours but I had done it finally I had perfected a spell to help me escape I smirked I went to the door I know they kept it unlocked I don't understand why but they do I opened it only to hear somepony scream "Where is he!?" wait that almost sounded like......TWILIGHT! I began to gallop grinning that she had found me so fast but when I got into the room I saw she was angry Twilight's coat had turned white and her mane and tail were on fire wow so this is what rapidash Twilight looks like just wow she is MAD but something snapped in me I saw the 'changling' slam into her "You did not just her her" I said they all looked at me "YOU DID NOT JUST HURT MY MOTHER!" I felt like I was starting to float in the air "You.Do.Not.Bucking.Touch MY FAMILY" That is when it happened the unexplainable I felt my magic taking over my body it feels like the episode where Twilight got her cutie mark my eye's glowed white with magic as my horn lit up I could not control my self I saw Twilight standing there in shock while Jero was laying on the ground that is what caused me to loose all control "Nova!" Twilight shouted trying to get me to calm down I read something in a book about something with unicorns my age's magic is sometimes powered my emotions "Nova you have to calm down" I could not stop what was going on "DAMIAN!" It had taken the pair hours to do seeing as everyone else on the weather team had all came down with something known as ‘feather flu’. Rainbow Dash was frustrated that it was only her and Jero on weather duty. After getting the last patch of cloud, Rainbow Dash noticed something. “Hey Jero did you put that cloud over there?” Rainbow Dash asked staring at Jero with a look of confusion on her face.
