I could have sent her back...
Author's Note: Formerly known as "I'm Here, Dashie." Name changed and description reworked to be less subtle because people were kinda missing the point.
Presented in a diary format from the perspectives of both lead characters, this dark, Evangelion inspired deconstruction of My Little Dashie will explore the real life implications of a man, with no parenting experience, assuming sole responsibility for the care and development of a child that is not his own, and one that he can never let anyone else know about.
A depressed brony, living in an equally depressed city, one day stumbles across a discovery that will change his life forever. Somehow, through some fluke of magic, Rainbow Dash has found her way into our world, and into his care. But try as he might, perhaps the idea of him fathering Rainbow Dash wasn't as good an idea as he had thought.
A/N: Removing the "Sex" tag for two reasons:
1. It was embarrassingly getting the fic listed in FIMFiction's "Clopfic" directory, even though sexuality plays only a very, very minor role in the story's proceedings.
2. The sexuality in question, while more than a passing reference, is definitely more on the side of "implicit" than "explicit." In its finished state, there will be no nudity, no graphic sex scenes, and there will certainly be no clop. Rather, sexuality is occasionally used as a character-development technique, and descriptions will only be strong enough for the audience to get the "general idea," as it were. My goal with this story is to make the characters feel realistic, and sexuality is a part of any "real" character. It falls well within the grey area between "shipping" and "graphic sex" described in FIMFiction's FAQ. Sexuality can be depicted without it being graphic, and it makes me wish that FIMFic had separate ratings to distinguish between "R" and "Triple-X" rated stories.
Bear in mind, though, that the story is still Mature. It tackles adult themes in a way which is not suitable for children, so the story's "Mature" rating is not going anywhere.
