A mare with a penchant for the arts, Sketchy imagined many things during her life in stable 83. Landscapes, wonderlands, tastefully drawn bucks and mares. But what she never imagined, was 'volunteering' to leave the Stable. Unfortunately the stable needs somepony to go outside and Sketchy fits the bill. No friends, subjectively useless, and a drain on dwindling resources. It seems artistic talents aren't very appreciated in a stable where the paper ran out decades ago.

A wearer of glasses, drawer of flanks, cleaner of floors, and a faithful Harmonite Sketchy is many things. The first of her generation to get a cutie mark, and now the first to leave the stable. Her quest, to record everything the Equestrian wasteland has to offer, to learn what was lost, and use it to save her stable from consuming itself. Who knows what she'll find in the wasteland?
